Makes sense to nerf entire line of junglers (
) that has 0 use in competitive/high elo play but god tier (
) that dominates every LCS/LCK/LPL is nerfproof since forever.
Like whats even the point of existence of attack speed based junglers in this game if they are tied up to dumpster with very short leash?
Zero Skill Tank2 votesRemoving attack speed junglers ties with devourer is first step to start putting them in a good spot. Right now it can't be really made so, because any devouring jungler strong enough for competitive will totally dominate games up to like P2-3, because before that counter jungling is virtually non existent, save for few cheesy champions.

Critmaster Garen1 votesrageblade gets devourers double hit passive. devourer now deals 3% max health physical on hit damage. really, devourer and rageblade are basically just trading passives. so except for rageblade costing more, everyone who built both items barely feels a difference.
and while rageblade is more expensive, it doesnt take you 30 stacks to get the double hit passive anymore.

Wolfram Oxford1 votesTo be honest I think they do need to nerf a lot of the meta junglers in pro play, but a lot of Devourer junglers made for toxic gameplay. People like Shyvana could build one to two damage items and then become a monster of a tank. The problem with Sated Devourer applying double on-hits every other auto attack is that it offers too much damage in kits that synergize with it, without having to build a lot of damage. Certain Devourer junglers will be unaffected since they can pick up the new Rageblade, but the junglers that will be using Rageblade are most likely junglers that will build more of a damage focused build and not the ones that abuse the high damage offered by Devourer.
