The "Morde's Spaghetti (Code)" conspiracy; why he hits and kills himself with sated devourer.

Edit - I made a short follow-up video showing him pickpocketing, tributing, and vamping off himself, here.

Here's the transcript for anyone who, like me, can't stand the sound of my voice. There's quite a few text notes in the video that aren't transcribed, mostly because they don't make sense outside of the video.

Mordekaiser has some… interesting item interactions, to say the least. You see, Malicious Metal, the man who convinced Riot to not change Morde’s title to “The Lord of Death,” picked on the programmers at Riot back in 6th grade, and they want payback. With the release of Sated Devourer, they changed the coding on Xin Zhao’s Q from on-attack to on-hit, specifically so he could get off all three in two hits. But Mordekaiser? Ohhhh no. He’s programmed so that Sated, rather than applying the Q like Xin, hits HIM instead. Of course, they also made the autoattack reset on Titanic that you just saw Xin abuse non-functional on Morde as well. And while they were at it, they made his Q count as AoE ‘cause spell vamps not allowed to be even remotely as good as lifesteal is for every ADC. Mordekaiser does have some item advantages over Xin however. For some damn reason, Rageblade grants him 3 stacks per auto, so his third q always hits at 8 stacks. Much more importantly, his ult applies spell effects for 10 seconds. That’s a long ass slow from Rylai's, 2 or 3 procs of Luden’s echo, and a ton of burn from deathfire touch and Liandry's. (Death fire touch alone adds a 1.92 bonus AD and a .77 AP magic damage ratio.)

Morde has plenty of bugs that have nothing to do with items as well, like Rift Herald’s eye never closing when a ghost tanks it. I’ve been reporting these along with the item funk continuously since the day Mordekaiser’s rework came out on PBE;

Riot has been given every opportunity to fix their code; but that was never their intention. You see, the brouhaha about retitling Morde was simply a facade for bigger plans; they know his defining characteristic is neither metal nor death, and wanted to test the community response, in preparation for when when they push hard towards his TRUE theme in his upcoming sion level rework as - The God of Spaghetti.

This is the first video I’ve ever made, even though I’ve been writing about LoL for a while. I hope you liked it, but if you didn’t, civil criticism is appreciated. Community involvement and support is what keeps me going. If you want to see more videos like this, subscribing or commenting on the LoL forums or the Reddit page for this video is the best way to show it. If i get to 100 subscribers, I’ll make an in-depth video about abusing itemization, masteries, and other gimmicks on both Mordekaiser and Xin Zhao. Until then, I’ll See you on the Rift, Ladies, Gentlemen, and trolls.

Oh snap! So you're telling me Riot still holds grudges for what had transpired in sixth grade?!

Just tested this out without even reading all of it, and unintentionally also tested out the thing with Rift Herald... Holy shit... they really don't test new stuff with him in mind, do they now?

Oh hey we played yesterday! I like your video, that Mordekaiser damage is crazy. BTW, The Rift Herald Bug works with ANY champion that has a completed jungle item and has any other champion tank it. Redmercy made a video on it recently: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ghVyEsURvg
