Kinda yeah. It's potentially SUCH a strong mastery. After a few auto's it's like two BF swords mid game. 3 BF swords late game. Each BF sword is like 1300g. It's not quite a BF sword though because it doesn't crit or increase ability damage. But yeah. The potential of this mastery FAR EXCEEDS the others. It's kinda supposed to by design, but it's a bit ludicrous if you add up the numbers.
At this point though so many things that interact well with fervor has already been nerfed around it. I believe Kayle is next on the chopping block tbh (55% winrate lel)
At this point though I don't even mind anymore. It enables Gnar to build more tanky and still be a killer :3
I've been saying Fervor out of line all season. It wasn't so much devourer or Jax or rageblade or w/e lol. It was fervor all along.
The thing is this mastery almost kinda has to be this strong to feel like a meaningful and exciting choice. Maybe the curve needs to be smoothed out though as it kinda hyperscales with attackspeed and levels. Lower the ridiculous potential it has.... Though if it ends up being basically + 20 on hit damage that's a bit dull of a design.
You can't have a mastery with WAY more potential power than the others. While the game has been tuned around it this season it creates imbalances in other systems like items and champions. Watch. Once fervor is gone from the game on hit champions will crash so fking hard.
However maybe if we nerf Fervor we can buff Bork a little bit. It think that's a good idea. This might also help make warlords more viable on the hard hitting adcs. Bring on the Vayne meta.
Will admit, it IS neat it can be an option for champs that don't exactly maximize it though.
