You could technically create 10 rankings, bronze,silver,Gold,Plat,Dimond,Master,challenger,Pro,Super Pro, Gold LIKE. And all this would do is increase the Que times. And reason we can't have both Solo Que and DQ at the same time is due to Que times being even more super long. So why not just keep it to 5 rankings for shorter Que times? Then maybe we can have Solo Que back with DQ being another option?

4th Chiming Lamb1 votesThis could work, but Queue times are so long so it can find people that you'd do well in the game with, Making Diamond the highest tier would be a matchmaking nightmare; the jump from Diamond I to Challenger is like the jump from Bronze I to Plat III.
FourVsFive1 votesYes, but by making it so Dimond is highest everything will be reset to the point where Dimond be the new challenger and Plat be the new Dimond ect, But people will be more bunched together, yes Bronze and Silver players will increase but the 5% will now have a less range at least. U have to understand that Dimond and Plat will not be that easy to reach any more with this change, its just making the 5% top players not be so spread out.

people in diamond with huge amounts of lp will still have q times of an hour.
BluePolarizer1 votesThe difference between a diamond 1 and a challenger is literally the MMR difference between a bronze 1 and a diamond 5 (from 1000 to 2000 vs. from 2400 to 3400).
If it's not OK for bronzes and diamond 5's to play together, then its not OK for diamond 1's and challengers to play together. Master tier was necessary.
