Got told to eat shit and that I did no damage because I took Evelynn AD...

Hear me out though, I usually do take her AP but with the new jungle changes going AP is a bit harder, and I thought going for a more sustained build and AD damage that would help her clears might be better, so I've been trying it out the few times I've been doing it.

So I get into a game just a few minutes ago, and our support starts raging on me saying "ad eve is trash," "you do no damage," "why did you do that? you're trash" and constantly hammering me for any little mistake that I made, and then at the end screen said I did less damage than the two supports in the game while telling me to "eat shit" and "grow up, get good," among other abusive things.

Good Lord, the kinds of people on here 0.0 I told her I was a "level 5 eve," meaning MASTERY, and the whole team thought I was actually LEVEL 5 and then they all hammered on me about how I was playing awful even though I went 5-2 and got a double kill in a close fight- thanks to my sustain which helped me live and get my second E off to finish Kha'Zix off.

Even though the Leona said she was "level 9," she and the others clearly didn't understand how AD Eve is different than AP, that it's more about sustained fights instead of burst, and can still do a lot of damage. I told her to look it up too and she still said it was complete trash.

Moral of the story peeps: don't harass your teammate until you actually have knowledge about what you are talking about. And being abusive gets you reports!

AD Eve works perfectly fine even when you're building her as an ADC it's just that you need 11 AD 24 Armor runes to even clear the jg and have enough health to gank to start snowballing early

See? I thought so too but no that person that it was trash and that I was trash too!

Don't report people. Just grow up. There are people in the world who say nasty things. Just deal with it.

As for doing less damage than both the supports.. unless you were taking other objectives and putting pressure, you were detrimental. That's just numbers. Everyone has days of low damage, again.. deal with it.

I'd advise you to learn to just ignore (not mute) people who say nasty things. It will help you in League, and in life.

Look how ruffled your feathers are, you went to the effort of making a forum post because someone said you were shit in a single game? Do you really need a bunch of strangers who didn't witness your performance to tell you how wonderful you did and how that mean guy knows nothing? Is that what you are after, some validation?

You've got rank 5 Eve. You've played a lot of games as her. Not all of them were great. Not all of them were shit. Just move on, play another and if someone shit talks you, try to read between the lines and work out what they want.

Yeah, ignore the obvious trollbait. You have every right to report assholes and trolls. If you're legitimately trying, people don't have a right to be jerks, and if they choose to be one, then they get reported. Simple. Keep practicing and work on your mechanics - whether eve is ad or ap, the playstyle is similar. The difference is when the powerspikes are, and the relevance late game.

AD Eve is very strong and puts out great damage. The problem with AP Eve is she falls off late game and has no resistances and is squishy. AD Eve is much more expensive, but pays out a lot more late game when everyone is full build. Since you have stealth & move steroid, you can delete ADCs while taking very little damage in return.

AD Eve is Triforce / Frozen Heart and then I like to build Wit's End, or you can build Maw of Malmortius. Then build tank or more AD as you choose, depending how far ahead you are.

I pick AD Evelynn top lane quite a lot - it's strong in lane, and is great late game with the AS Steroid & Ult shield.

Not at all trollbait, its a life lesson.

Shit like this is why people need a safe space over everything. They grow up on video games where they can mute and report anything they don't like, and then fail as humans when the same situation arises in real life and there isn't a magic mute button.

So do you go around being a jerk to people to teach them a life lesson? Ok. Why do you think its your job to teach people about assholes and jerks in the world?

People have plenty of practice dealing with jerks because, as you have so beautifully proven, they are everywhere.

People play video games because real life has enough people like that.

Where was I a jerk? I encouraged them and said they are a rank 5 eve so they obviously know they aren't trash like the toxic player was saying, and I told them they don't need validation from a bunch of strangers who know nothing about the game.

If people have plenty of practise dealing with jerks, why are the forums flooded with "waah wahh someone called me rude words ban pls"

If you encourage reporting and muting instead of growing up and moving on, you are encouraging the same 'safe space' bullshit that plagues the western world.

You were a jerk because you criticized OP for reporting people who were also jerks and telling him to 'grow up'. We are playing a damn video game, why should that draw so much ire from people, when this is something we do for fun?

And I don't remember seeing the boards flooded with topics of people crying about rude words. But yeah, if someone uses racial and homophobic slurs, they absolutely deserve a report and subsequent ban, regardless if you think that we live in an overly PC world or not.

It's not really been since the last 4-5 decades where outright racial discrimination has been outlawed and banning hateful language and words is one of the most important parts of doing that. You think if someone runs down the street yelling the N word over and over in a predominantly black neighborhood is ok? You think someone saying nasty things to Muslims is ok, like calling them terrorist or other far worse things?

No, words are very impactful and potentially harmful things, and words used to insult and belittle people are just as harmful.

You don't sound like a very nice person in real life, and given the little bit I've learned about you in this topic, I doubt I'd want to come across you in any way, shape, or form.

Look at this sensitive sally. Don't want to get banned? Don't say things to get reported.

I have gotten multiple people who have spent a great deal of time and money on this game's account banned, and that is hilarious.

I report for any reason that could feasibly get someone punished for it, whether we win or lose, and I rarely say anything offensive in game. Someone could be flaming one of my teammates throughout the game, and I probably won't say a single word to defend them, because I don't care.

But when post-game comes, whether we won or lose, I immediately report anyone who said anything inflammatory or did anything reportable, be it the toxic aggressor or the guy who retaliated with flaming.

Saying "Eat shit Eve" is completely different from saying N word
