Why just randomly buff her ult damage? Makes absolutely no sense

Darius, Yas, Riven are considered OP by some.

Bard and Nami, I'm pretty sure, are balanced/under powered. Riven is in no need of buffs.

Keep in mind that 52% win rate in Diamond is almost all one Trick ponies. 52% win rate is pretty terrible for a main.

By that logic, we should buff Heimerdinger, Draven, Karthus, Fiddlesticks, Rengar, Akali, Tryndamere, Soraka, Talon and Kalista before we get to Riven. One tricks practically in Diamond and up.

Rengar and Talon (and very likely Akali) are getting reworked, so there's that. Out of the remaining, only Fiddlesticks and Soraka are deemed good from what I've seen. Draven is decent, but the rest are pretty bad and could definitely do with some kind of buff.

Tryndamere does well in the lower elo's of play, but if they buff him to where high skill players can use him to better effectiveness than lower elo tryndamere player's go about their play style, that'd be neat, but buffing him in general would only spike his win rate.

tbh lately, ive seen Riven more and more rarely picked and when she was present, she would be pretty useless for the big part of the game. She is pretty much only good in dominating her own lane and generally 1v1 champs, without counting some hard counters, or simply op champs. Imo she definitely needed some sort of buff, but not in the becoming OP direction. More of something that can keep her in the game past laning phase

Because riven is a garbage champion. She can be destroyed pre 6 but no one takes advantage of it and is one of the only top laners that can be beaten just off of the other teams pick, like renekton for example. High burst lockdown champions destroy riven no matter how good the players is. Plus its an ult buff so she still is gonna be doing 0 damage if she ends up going even in lane and by the time her ults up you should have sufficient armor to where its literally nothing. In diamond you should know this honestly.

I don't have a problem facing riven, it's just that most of us find her play style to be incredibly obnoxious and frustrating. Buffing her will only increase her playrate drastically, meaning we see this annoying piece of shit every other game. Like Ashe and Jhin right now.

with 50% win rate and 10% pick rate she seems to be in perfect spot. That buff will make her Godlike again and will be ban alot Those buffs will be like a reminder than Riven is able to score Pentakills

Riot should hold any changes on her unless they plan to do Roster Rework

I love how everyone sees a damage increase on Riven and immediately starts freaking out. Try to understand the context - in order to even get the damage increase it means:

She's in a fight with her ult up and ready to execute you (a.k.a. you already fucked up)
In order for her to even take full advantage of the flat increase in damage you have to be at 25% health or below (a.k.a. you REALLY fucked up)
Her wind slash is slow as molasses now so you still have time to redeem yourself by dodging
You apparently fucked that up too so now she has every right to kill you

The damage increase is to make her final execute an actual execute and punish the people who already fucked up 3 times.

if anything her ult damage is the last thing that should be buffed. makes for terrible mechanism for bad rivens. just RR and a half health squishie dies
