Aatrox VS Voli

I love how that Voli with max stacks has more attack speed than a comparable Aatrox with a full blood well. AWESOME. OH, and I love how he has more effective CC, shorter cool downs on everything, better mobility, and is so so tanky he can forego mercury treads or ninja tabai and get boots of swiftness, all while enjoying abilities that scale very well off of relevant items.

This isn't just about Aatrox. I think Voli is Op in general, just like Shyvana----too tanky with too much damage and mobility, the best of all worlds.

IDK...i just played a game where i was top voli vs Aatrox. Voli is one of my mains and it was sort of annoying. But it was sort of even....we both killed each other in lane phase twice. Well to be fare i had to kill him 4 times because of the passive. Normally when i top Voli i can bully most opponents but this Aatrox kinda pissed me off. To the point where i had to play a bot game with him just to see why lol. I have him as a champ but i think that was my 1st time actually using him that i remember.........even found out i have a skin for him lol...guess i got the bundle when he came out.

Wrong on quite a few things there, bro.

Aatrox gets 55% (passive) + 60% (R) Bonus Attack Speed. Volibear only gets 60% (W) Bonus Attack Speed. Aatrox gets way more attack speed than Volibear.
Aatrox QWER Cooldowns: 12, 0.5, 8, 70. Volibear QWER Cooldowns: 8, 18, 11, 80. Volibear has longer cooldowns on 3 of his four abilities.
Aatrox CC: long cast range AoE knock up, long cast range AoE slow. Volibear CC: melee cast range single-target knock up, melee cast range AoE slow. Aatrox has more flexible and more effective CC if used correctly.
Aatrox has a non-unit targeted dash for both engage and escape. Volibear only gets a 15% movespeed buff that increases to 50% when approaching enemy champions, but is far less effective for escapes. Aatrox is far more mobile than Volibear.
Aatrox gets a maximum of 1174 health back from his passive even with zero health items. For Volibear to match that with his passive, he has to have 3913 health, which necessitates him building tanky.

Objectively, Aatrox outclasses Volibear in multiple ways. The reason Aatrox feels way too squishy compared to Volibear is that people build Aatrox squishy. If they built him tank, he would be pretty good.
