But when I ask to buff Darius, one of the most weak toplaners, you all say no , because he " zones all melee " ???

Darius is generally considered a poorly designed champion. There is a reason Riot wants to rework him and that is the reason you won't get much support when asking if he should get buffed.

That said I believe Riot has buffs planned for him in the meantime. They have spoken about giving him buffs to his ult reset as it levels up, possibly becoming a full reset like it once was at max rank.

How is irelia not poorly designed, yet is viable and they don't plain a rework on her? She has a strong potential point and click stun that has high base damage god knows why, a dash that resets on kills, has stupid low mana cost and also get mana refund. She has passive sustain that doubles when she activates her W , that deals true damage. She is nearly immune to CC with mercury treads.

Meanwhile darius has damage that pushes the lane A LOT ( different from irelia) his hook does no damage, has low range and high CD, his W damage is strong only against AA champions, but the damage is not high except if you buy damage ( again, different from irelia, that only scales with lvls ). His ult true damage needs 5 stacks to do "high" damage, meanwhile irelia only needs to AA you with her W activated

Riot openly admitted that they overloaded her kit. It's just that, after the dozens of nerfs levied on her kit, she's not a prominent champion and she doesn't really cause problems. It's a Poppy-esque situation without the deity-tier overpowered ultimate.

Ask the forums if they want Irelia or Poppy buffed, and you'll get about as much positive feedback as asking for Darius buffs.

Darius does his job well enough, that's all. Irelia does hers, and many more jobs on top of that, way too well.

Irelia is overloaded.(70% tenacity in a team fight is strong esp when they are thinking about making tenacity effect knock-ups) And she has true damage, sustain, a stun/slow, a gap closer, ult that does AoE magic damage and sustains. I mean at least with Lee you can effective run from him and he falls off. Irelia doesn't.

Darius can not be balanced until the make his pull make sense. I'm sorry I blinked out of your pull that hadn't touched me yet and am all the way at Inhib tower now and you are sitting there at tier 2 tower and yanked me through some stupid yet funny animation all the way back (this has been the source of the occassional resurfacing of the bug letting him pull people to spawn pool from anywhere on the map).

If they fix his pull then he can get buffs, but until then sorry no.

Irelia was nerfed before and was considered garbage. If she gets nerfed again the same thing will happen until everyone is nerfed and she is suddenly strong again.

No. Thankfully that isn't the case. Irelia is especially strong because of the meta of ranged cc heavy top laners like gnar and lissandra since her passive works against cc and she can sustain through poke. This is a case of the meta shifting, not a case of others being garbage.

He does zone all melees, he is actually considered to be pretty OP as a top laner. Just that thanks to LCS, more and more "I used to be mid" range champs has taken over, so Darius is pretty out of the top lane beta.

the big reason people don't want buff to darius is because darius is, often and most of the time, unfun to play against. Irelia's big problem is the ~80% tenacity and one day (some day this year ideally xD) change to knock up which will be reduced by tenacity. (That's a HUGE buff for her if you didn't know)

never said she was fun to play against (and in my opinion she should be nerfed but more around to like if it she was tweaked whit a few small changes)
