Tell them to suck it up and get better at the game? The only people who complain about DQ are mainly people who can't accept or possibly understand their own faults and see others complaining about DQ and think that's their problem. Otherwise yeah tell them Soloqueue is coming back if getting them to play again is a goal you're shooting for.

That's really not true. I complained about it too. It's not even being unable to climb or any nonsense like that. It's that it lost reliability as an assessment tool and is incongruent with a ladder system. You could have a guy in Plat playing only with 5 friends on smurfs while another guy does it only playing solo. Those aren't the same skillsets.

It's a very ambiguous system. It's not even that solo is always the superior player but you're not measuring the same things and clumping them is irrational. I got to Plat solo for the first time this season and it doesn't mean I thought it was a good system. It was an absolute shit system and a joke of a ranked system. I'm so glad we're getting Solo/Duo back.

If they really disliked the game that much because of the queue system for one play mode, they must have just played the game out perhaps or not have been big fans of it to begin with.

If I hated dynamic queue, I would still play the game with friends in blind or normal draft. Ranked play is nice, but probably 60% or more of the games I played in the lifetime of this game were unranked games with friends.

Ranked was not everything to me and if they were ranked enthusiast then my guess is you didn't play with them too much anyways? Since the ranked mode was only solo or duo.
