What does playing reworked ryze feel like?

He feels strong and fun, but his ult really feels too hard to use and useless outside LC$BIGFCKINGPLAY$.
His ult should have been something else.
I agree with this... I don't like his new ult... It's generic and useless..
It's generic how?
That's what I mean by generic... Time to come up with something new... Yes some of those champions don't really have a tp ult but still its pretty much the same thing... Let's find something different riot please...
Ekko and taliyah don't count. Taliyah uses a wall. Ekko only goes a short distance. The rest are either one person only or shen's, shen's is pretty different becuase it requires and ally. Ryze's is team wide. Nothing else in the game can do that.
What would you rather have? Honest question here, what would you put in it's place?
I would rather have a power-up ability as his ult. It would make sense.. He reads a book, and gains extra ap, or true damage, or becomes invulnerable, or something else that makes sense as far as him having a spell book.
Not useless, but really hard to use if you're not in a premade/LC$IAMRITOIONLYGIVEASHITTOLCSFCKSOLOQYAY$
Well look at how heroes of the storm made a teleport circle. The champ guldan can tp to his demon circle, but that's learned at lvl 20 at the cost of upgrading his ultimate.
So while the tp circle is pretty shitty as an ultimate, heroes give you the opportunity to grab it if you really wanted to at the cost of upgrading your ult to something god tier
His ult is great, what are you talking about? It makes ganking bot lane a lot easier. before you would just pop ghost and just run at them like a wet fish. His old ult was terrible. Stat buff that made his spells AOE, what's fun about that?
It does feel kinda hard to coordinate. I've been trying him out, his ult sounds nice but it's rather unpractical and sorta hard to communicate with your allies. I wish it was "Active: Open portal at your location, allowing allies to go in it, reactivation: Tp to cursor location after the normal delay" I would have preferred that.
If it was too easy to coordinate then it would be too strong. an AOE team teleport is incredibly powerful, it needs to be harder to coordinate.
In that case, we could say that release azir (suppose he has no bugs and sht) was balanced because he's hard to use? Not really... skillcap isn't really a good argument when it comes down to power honestly. s
Except that this is one ability and not an entire kit. You are comparing apples to oranges, Also a set cast time means it's harder to troll with.
Well I'm saying high skillcap =/= balanced, it doesn't really matter the fact if it's a skill or the entire kit...
Well comparing one ability to an entire champion is dumb. You can just gut that champions ability, make it have a 4 minute cooldown or something stupid so it's power is heavily limited. gutting an entire champion is a lot harder.
Well my highskillcap=/=balanced point still stands anyways...
Because you've said earlier the skill would be too good if it was easy to use.
You're a magical machine gun with rocket boots.
