Lucian passive should count as 2 attacks for rageblade stacking and I have proof....

For those who don't know, Lucian passive only stacks rageblade once because according to riot, his passive is a modified attack, and not 2 single auto attacks.

But thats simply not true. I did some digging and found that riot themselves stated the passive counted as 2 single attacks a long time ago in Lucian champ spotlight video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rIiuLXXGEg&t=304s

If you go to 0:50 second into the video, the narrator stats that Lucian passive counts as 2 individual attacks. Yet for some reason, when rageblade/devourer was introduced, riot flipped and said his passive is really 1 attack with 2 on hit effects.

You can also see more evidence that Lucian passive is really 2 auto attacks because of the way it stacks item 3087 item 3094 and even Fleet foot. Each attack from his passive stacks these items once for a total of 20% and not 10%.

I don't know why Riot decided that Lucian passive should not take full advantage of rageblade, but the excuse they are giving is simple not true.

Please upvote is you want to see riot correct this so that Lucian can has more diversity in his build paths.

No, we already have enough cancer with KogMaw and Varus using it. Mr. Dashes for Days does not need that crap too.

I understand that, but as I explained, technically, Luc passive is in fact 2 auto attacks and should stack rageblade twice. Its just riot needs to be consistent in what Lucian passive actually is.

That i can agree one. Its probably some oversight by riot. Either its intended and they never bothered to mention it (not new, they do that a lot) or its accidental.

On one hand, it would add consistency, but on the other hand, I don't see why Lucian needs Rageblade since he doesn't really need attack speed to begin with no?
I can see why on hits are good on him, but Rageblade seems too heavy on the attack speed part to be really good on him.
That's just the feel I got though, if I'm wrong please tell me why.

I'd much rather the game be balanced than consistent. If Riot specifically prevented this interaction from happening, it was deliberate and they have their reasons. Lucian may or may not be more balanced with Rageblade, but the argument you're making doesn't really hold up; inconsistencies are champion specific balance levers.
