Shes been nerf to the point where she is barely played anymore. The only recent buff was her q damage towards monsters was increased. She use to be a top laner and was pushed towards jungle because of the nerfs on her damage. Then she was nerfed because she was a strong competitor in the jungle with Lee sin ( who still hasnt been touched ) and now in the new jungle she is struggling. She use to be able to clear and gank sufficiently but now its either one or the other.

Why was she looked upon to be nerf to such extent but other champions are left unscathed?

Before being nerfed, Elise had too many power-house things going for her. She could build super tanky and deal huge amounts of damage due to her Q's % health shreds, she can make herself untargetable (which is a LOT of power), her early ganks before Cocoon's duration changed were too scary, etc.

It's also that she has an identity problem. Is she a tank? Is she a mage? Is she an assassin? She has no role that she really fixates in, and Riot hates that.

Essentially, she probably won't get many (if any) buffs until she gets reworked.

They just need to buff and nerf her in ways that decide on a strength. They largely nerfed her damage well by reducing her bases a lot but if they want her to do damage then they should further nerf her bases but give her better scaling, for example. Elise's "damage while building tank" thing is largely a symptom of her having strong base damages and that's very easily fixed. Even now her tank build damage falls off horribly.

Are you serious? not only is elise CURRENTLY a decent lcs pick, nidalee is being nerfed and lee sin WAS nerfed

This is not true. She hasn't been played since the very beginning of the split, and she did horribly when she was chosen she did terribly. She has a 42% win rate and has no competitive presence to make up for it - she needs buffs.

I meant 42% in regular play. I.e she's not good enough to be used in competitive and one of the worst champions in the game in general play. How can she not need buffs? Almost all of the champions getting buffs in the patch coming out tomorrow are in better spots than her.

There isnt "Tons" of champs who needs more work than her lol.

The only champs who need more work than her are the other ones who were recently totally destroyed and people like Yorick but Elise getting buffs isn't gonna delay the Yorick rework.
