aside from the not entirely useless ad, it solves the main ekko has. and gives him a point n click slow to engage with everyone belovedhated EQ combo. autoprocs thunderlords when you connect with e. essentially granting 'double burst'

Well its not a big deal if it's removed. I never even noticed. He already has a speed boost on his passive and the slow on his Q. He doesn't need one on his passive too.
