Bard starts to define the jungle meta

Not by being a jungler - but by being able to place about 4 healing shrines next to your first big buff camp before the game even started. Meaning Bard as the ability to save a jungler all of his 2 pots early on, enabling the "forbidden" level 3 ganks Riot tried to take out of the game.

Having a Bard as your support now grants your team a HUGE early advantage in the jungle.

I'm a jungler and I'm biased. While I love having a Bard on my site, I feel like he toughens the quest to fix the new jungle.

I believe he can only place 3 shrines at a time, and they cost 100 mana so you can't exactly spam them everywhere you go. besides, cooldowns.

It's enough to place 3 in his jungle ( one at his starting camp), go back to base and regenerate your mana. Go back to your lane (through jungle) and place a new one (so in total: 4).

EDIT: Do guys seriously don't understand this? k, gotta make it even more clear. THE JUGNLER USES THE FIRST PLACED SHRINE DOIGN HIS FIRST CAMP. Bard THEN placed another 3rd ( so a 4th total) for his jungler on his way back to lane.

point is that he can only have 3 active at a time. Like wards, or Cait traps.

Directly from the league of legends wiki, "Active: Bard conjures a health shrine at the target location that builds up in power over 10 seconds. Bard can have up to 3 shrines active at once, which remain until visited by an ally or crushed by an enemy."

Philoppos17 is not from NA, I assume?

CharacterLimit is correct, this is intentional. If you don't immediately access the 4th health shrine, the first one placed will despawn although the affect is not instantaneous (such as placing a 4th ward).

he can only do 3, but he can vomit all three there for him, recall, and be in lane before the minions reach middle map and have wasted absolutely nothing. this gives room for weaker junglers and makes strong junglers really strong. its going to be a fight to pick ban the guy when people start playing him well.

in fact if you think about it, if you have a jungler that can almost solo dragon level 3-4...bard can vomit his little health packs down and leave...get that dragon and no one knows what just happened

I feel like he should almost be with the jungler more than the adc, plenty of other supports that could provide heals could follow suit as well not quit as good since he has chimes to pick up without getting caught out because he's with the jungler

Maybe people will realize if you just get your buff leashed instead of a side camp, you don't take as much damage and thus can gank at level 3.

But shhhhhhhh don't tell anyone.

I find that I take WAY more dmg without the Gromp/Krugs buff.

Pretty much I take the Krugs with smite and a leash. Take Red with 1 pot, then take raptors with the 2nd pot. Then move to blue side and clear all of it, starting with Gromp. This pretty much leaves me with 50-75% of my health, and can possible make a gank before going back. This is with Xin, Vi and Yi though. I haven't jungled tanks recently due to the strength of AD bruisers.

Its not as good for people that start red side since krugs buff is pretty good damage mitigation. Its better if you start blue because smiting red gives you a % of your missing health, so generally just doing red and then smiting it to kill it, then popping your second potion gets you to, or close to, full health.
