Things mages have that assassins don't: Range, CC, better teamfighting, utility, safer laning phases

Seems fair

Thing mages have that assassins don't, Burst.

Talon: ...what? Fizz: I don't get it. Kha'zix: I think it's a complaint about your delays. Talon: but it's still burst. Just delayed burst. Right Akali?

Akali is sitting in the fetal position while staring at the wall. She doesn't respond.

Things assassins have that mages don't: A ridiculously high death count and/or ridiculously low kill participation/contribution level against any competent team, because they got turned into fucking trash.

Kha is fine, Shaco at best needs to have something shifted around to make AD his best build path but is mostly fine, Fizz feels bad to play but is mostly fine, Rengar is arguably OP, Talon could probably use some help, LeBlanc is possibly fine but also possibly secretly OP once mastered (watched a challenger play her for the first time and my eyes bulged out of their sockets at her misdirection and burst damage), Katarina could probably use some buffs to make her less unforgiving, and Akali is indeed hot dog shit.

Your narrative that assassins are dog shit poop that can't duel ADCs right now doesn't really hold up in reality.

I mathed out Talon's burst for fun and he easily does enough damage to kill an enemy ADC without his bleed passive, much less with it.

The issue is that summoner 6 summoner 4 has become a meta strat for mid, allowing late game laners like Ryze Viktor Cassiopeia to benefit from both mobility and damage.

It's a risky investment early because you don't have lane pressure potential and could get out farmed and shut in, but if you are confident on the champion the outcome is borderline in need of balance changes.

They need to nerf ghost, its too powerful for its low cd atm.

Oh and Exhaust, it has been broken for ages.

And heal since it outclasses barrier.

Akali is SO HOT3 votes

Pretty sure the mobility advantage is becoming less and less an Assassin thing. Mages have broken ghost and most of them nowadays have a big speed boost or some form of mobility on top of the rest of their bullshit kits just for the memes.

Since when is ghost class-restricted o.O?

Akali is SO HOT2 votes

Mages are the only champs that take ghost because their kits allow them to. You don't really see ghost on any other class of champions besides mages and a few champions that work really well with it like Olaf, Udyr, and Hec.

Not just their kits, also their position.

Well, assassins also have salt.

Oh, and their abilities tend to be targetted, they get stealth/untargetable mechanics, some of them do have cc (Rengar, Fizz, Leblanc) or strong laning (Zed in particular). They also have higher base stats while they don't need to invest gold in mana.

more sustained damage, more tanky, have cc and therefore utility btw, some of them have a great laning too like zed or yasuo

Actually assassins don't really have as much tanky options.

Meanwhile mages with rylais zhonya's, roa, and several other HP OPTIONS.

check how much ad assassins' itemization is better than mages'

they have a ton of mr items while mages have a single armor item which usually hurts their damage if they rush it too

Are you telling me any of those MR items don't hurt AD assassin when they buy them?

Also please tell me which HP/AD item I can build that has significant HP and AD plus other good stats/effects? Because AP has a lot of those.

And the armor item you're complaininng about literally has an active that counters every form of damage and CC.
