Any reasons For Taric's Heal to Cost 80 / 95 / 110 / 125 / 140 Mana?
And 18/17/16/15/14 CD?
For a Reminder: sona's heal gives as well mr/armor a shield for 100 less hp with 7 seconds Cooldown and 80 / 85 / 90 / 95 / 100 Mana

Sona:
COST: 80 / 85 / 90 / 95 / 100 MANA COOLDOWN: 10 HEAL: 30 / 50 / 70 / 90 / 110 (+ 20% AP) MAX. HEAL: 45 / 75 / 105 / 135 / 165 (+ 30% AP)
Taric: COST: 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 / 140 MANA COOLDOWN: 18 / 17 / 16 / 15 / 14 HEAL: 60 / 100 / 140 / 180 / 220 (+ 30% AP) (+ 5% bonus health) SELF HEAL: 84 / 140 / 196 / 252 / 308 (+ 42% AP) (+ 7% bonus health)
Check it again?
And Taric has a passive: After using an ability, Taric's next basic attack ~~deals bonus magic damage equal to 20% of Taric's armor and ~~reduces his abilities' cooldown by 2 seconds. It will be very strong if you have some cdr.
Because he has one of the highest strength non-ultimate heals in the whole game, especially if only used on himself. Build
for the mana needs and get general tank items and suddenly you gain a massive heal (close to 500 health if used on yourself). Not to mention that if you utilize his passive correctly and get into a rhythm like AA>Spell>AA>Spell>AA etc. your abilities effectively have a third their normal cooldown. As Taric, you just need a large enough mana pool to get through a team fight and then just go back to base.
The only thing outdated about Taric is him being perceived to be a support. He needs real items (
in particular) to function.
He is a fighter support. In lane he functions as a very defensive counter engage support, but after lane, his job is to roam around assisting kills and pushing waves so he can catch up on gold and transition into a bruiser for late game team fights.
Sona's heal hasn't given MR/Armor since the rework.
because rito doesnt like GEMS
Taric is outdated. Needs rework.
Well, Sona's is on a lower CD but Taric's base healing is much higher, especially if you account for both heals healing two people.
Sona Heal on 2 Targets: 60/100/140/180/220 +(40% AP) Taric Heal on 2 Targets: 120/200/280/360/440 + (60% AP)+(10% Bonus Health)
Late game Taric's cooldowns drop by a lot if he can make use of cdr+passive.
It's a great heal, and proper use of CDR and his passive means he can heal constantly.
Because he would be OP in the other way. No joking, it would be URF mode Soraka.
Get your facts straight before coming on the forums to propagandize. Fearless removed the armor and MR from Sona's kit and her shield doesn't actually exist, its duration is somewhere between -1 second and 0.1 seconds. It's so short, it practically reduces time from other shields and even if it did exist, its values are abysmal anyways.
Dunno where you're getting Taric's mana costs from, his heal costs 60 mana. The only heal to cost 80 is Sona's and hers is the most expensive in the game, not to mention the weakest.
If your goal is to make yourself look uninformed and indirectly prove that Sona is a weaker champion than Taric, you're definitely succeeding.
Sona doesn't have a point and click stun on a really low CD with an armor aura
point and click stun which stun for 1.2 sec 600 range with 18 sec cd low cd darmor aura? 12% XD you can't even see if your allies take less dmg
When 12% gives them 40+ armor you start to.
its a heal
His heal is very relevant so if he could spam it without important limits he'd offer too much sustain. When I'm against poke lanes I even start with 2
and max Q first, but I guess that's a mistake most of the times u_U
because it can heal for a crapton. especially if you go for a mix of tanky ap
Because all heals are bullcrap in this game except for Soraka, who has an added function of killing herself in exchange for a good heal.
