And I haven't gotten a box in months. I have a relatively small champion pool, and I think you need to increase champion mastery to get boxes. So basically, if I max out mastery on every champ I'll stop getting boxes??? So the box system has a limit to how much you can get for free? Seriously?

P.S. Keys are gotten from playing champs you're already mastered then cause I get a lot of those. Well at least keys are getting an alternate method for those that have a lot of boxes, but what about us people with no boxes???

Boxes are guaranteed, you just have to meet the requirements to earn it. The very TL;DR is that you have to earn an S-/S/S+ grade on the champion to earn a box, and you can only get one chest per champion per season. The box restriction resets every season, you can essentially earn a box per week each season until it ends.

You need 52 champions to get every possible box per season since it resets every season and 1 year has 52 weeks. If you are that bad that you cant get a S- on champ that isnt in your champ pool then you can at least get a friend to play with you and hopefully he can get S while you play any champ you dont have chest on, you can it that way too.
