Thought I'd Try Out ADC

I'm a support main with an ADC friend that I, 95% of the time, play with. Recently he's been moaning and complaining the moment he see's an assassin on the enemy team, like Talon or Zed, and I always reassure him that I'll try my best to peel. He'll usually end up with a couple deaths because bot lane is such a hub for ganks/roams. I figured I'd try out ADC. Holy crap. I don't know how you guys do it. I got basically 1 shot by just about everything. I'm not saying I'm a great adc player, because I'm far from it, but wow. Of course I was against a support brand too, and I feel like the moment he got one AP item I couldn't even catch him out and snag a kill. The moment an enemy just looks at me I fall over and die.

TLDR: My hat goes off to you ADC players.

Adc is a pretty worthless role now. If Riot doesn't make changes, I think they'll disappear from the game.

seriously though, other classes of champions had it worse than adc.

assassins have it worse right now.

Disappear? highly unlikely. I'd love to see them in ~75% of games (similar to how tanks, assassins, etc, are in most, but not all games). If it goes below that, yeah, buff them (and I'm pretty sure riot will). But until then, they are still more "mandatory" than any other role... at least due to ziggs botlane new meta they are no longer 100%, more like 90%...

Damn, that'd be the first time in League history ADC's aren't viable and the meta somewhat changes !! About time..

Yeah, that's why I stopped playing adc for the most part and started queueing mid/top. I didn't like that even when massively ahead I could get trounced. When I was fed, I felt like it was more luck than skill.

I tried adc yesterday, i got super fed as MF, idk wtf goes through Riot balance teams' heads man, no reason a 16 kill Miss Fortune can't solo a 5 kill Fiora at low health, even when you're ahead, it never feels like it unless you're Vayne

The point of adcs in combat is typically to go in after abilities are spent, when their auto attacks dominate. It also takes some dodging skill.

especially now in this current "adc in 2k17 lul meta" it states sooo much just looking at an adc's history checking out their kda/kill participation etc.... besides getting one shotted by everything and being THE SOLE focus for every single teamfight.... a true good adc should always have at the very least maintain a 2.0 kda... if not... their positioning and decision making is garbage

I use to love playing adc i came from smite and dota as a mid/adc and trying to play it in this game is a joke more times then not. As they range from weak at the start to broken with a couple items which is why adcs have been heading to the top lane cause they can stop the melees cold usually deny farm and usually escape out with no worries. Which is why when quinn goes no sale guess who i am getting?

Ey I looked you up and you've collected quite a lot of masteries I'm suprised you only recently tried adc.

You do have your masteries on denial-type supports- but I must confess, when I'm worried about an assassin, (or two, or three) I pick Leona. Her stun isn't a skillshot and she typically builds a shield on her first item FOTM, (the cooldown is long enough to deal with assassins in laning and midgame) this is just my low elo advice, but it might work for you.

And I started dabbling in adc too a couple months ago (thank you Jhin....) and it's literally declined from 'hard' to 'hellish' after the jungle changes and the addition of autofill. But there's just something about it, isn't there?

They get one shot but can also pretty much one shot anyone else when they have their items.

That's why people go bot so much (other than the weak tower). So they can get their ADC fed/put the enemy ADC behind.

Yeah, ADC really sucks this season. Just compare my season 6 stats to my season 7 stats. I didn't get worse, if anything I got better, and yet my KDAs and win rates have dropped significantly. This is not the season to try and pick up ADC, it's really bad right now.

You really have to focus where you place your champion in and get vision in the jungle. It's like Five Nights of Ganks except the doors is the Fog of War. Then it's your positioning and farming. I really like to stay next to my tower so my support can roam then and I can usually last hit under tower with ADCs like Vayne or Twitch. I push when the jungler is down and I freeze the lane with my support and push when our turret's health is at a mismatch.

I make the same thread and get flamed and down voted to shit for suggesting adcs should be made more tanky or more mobile,people not playing adcs i think actually like the shitty state adc is in now,its those pimply nerds getting bullied at school so they come home and get off on bullying poor adcs with rengar

That's why people rather play support over ADC now. Whenever I get ADC, I always ask if the support wants it. People actually rather fight to NOT play ADC over not playing support these days. xD
