Why does it seem like the enemy team always picks a lockdown comp

Id like to see a cc comp on my side. How do i get this. am i supposed to ask them.

thats a horrible comp but stillll not accounting for who youre playing you already have a slow a stun a blind a knockup a knockback and a ressurect

Lockdown comps are happening because of Yi, Xin, Jax, Udyr, and Trynd's love affairs with rageblade.

Lock down comps have always been powerful, but with the new item release it is almost a requiernment to run it. Be prepared to see alot more Leona

Same reason why the enemy squishes always seems to do more damage than you and tank more damage than you too.

Because the zypher item was removed in the name of 'diversity', and mercury treads got their tenacity halved. So basically there's next to no cc reduction left in the game; I'd guess riot is hoping this is to allow tanks to stop assassins from instakilling their team, but they forgot they gave most of the assassins aoe cc or crazy safety. But really it just hurt fighters & tanks the most.

Right; because ekko's 2 second aoe stun isn't picked up level 1, because yasou doesn't have a 3 second aoe pop-up, because brand & annie don't have a 2 second stun, because quinn & vayne don't have a targeted knockback; the list goes on. Tanks aren't the only ones with crowd control; assassins, mages, and carries have more than their fair share of disabling abilities; but at least mages' cc sense, both in gameplay and thematically.

if i want ekkos w lvl 1 its because i want to farm more easily. not because i think ill actually be using the stun.
