Can Sona PLEASE have a stronger early game.

Or at least be "bad" for less time.

Like i get it, you can't have a late game power house be strong at all points in game. But it seems like most games aren't going long enough for Sona to hit that insane late game power spike.

I just find it really weird that most champions hit 10 mins and are more or less "strong". You have had time to grind some gold, go back to base once or twice and pick up some good items. Most other supports have their bread and butter abilities up and can help secure kills for their team ,or keep their teammates from getting killed. But Sona is still dragging her way through the game. I wish i could find data on rough power level of champions at the 10 min mark, the 10-15 min range, and the 15-20 min range. I honestly believe that Sona doesn't start getting "up and running" till at least the 15 min mark.

Q's range is super long and prioritizes enemies. She can stay behind minions and poke you all the live long day and has utility for years lategame and you want her even stronger early?

She's fine right now.

Oh yeah, i forgot how "powerful" 40-160 magic damage is. Players are really afraid of 40-100 magic damage hitting them once every 10-ish seconds. Sona's really pressuring the lane with her 1 offensive spell; she is really sustaining her carry with her 1 VERY subpar and mana expensive healing/shield ability; She is really helping to set up kills with her zero hard CC. You really want a super squishy and slow champion with no dashes/gap closers to have most of her utility be bound to an auto attack at 550 range. You really want your utility to have travel time, short range, and to force the player using it to blow a spell they will likely need to recast VERY soon or sit on a passive for a prolonged time so you can have the "correct" utility skill up when you need it.

Great she has a really nice late game, kind of a shame that it looks like the average game length doesn't support her getting to that late game power spike. Kind of a shame that where most champions are "good" at level 6, Sona sees her power spike around level 11. You know what with having full CDR, the bonus 25% cooldown reduction to your basic skills, and likely a way to offset how mana intensive she is.

It's not super long. It's just longer than adc auto attacks. There are plenty of abilities that have a longer range. 750 Range max.

If she gets removed from the match at roughly level 12 every single game, im okay with her having a stronger early.

So you want Sona to be switched from a late game powerhouse, to a near unstoppable early game monster who dominates lane but falls off HARD in the mid to late game?

No, I want her to do fairly well early/early mid game, and then literally get disconnected at level 12.

Wait, she doesn't have a strong early game?

I assume you are joking. Her early game is terrible against like 80% of the field.

Is that before or after you realized she counters the highest winrate support since season 1?

The fact that one of her few “good” match ups happens to be a high win rate champion, doesn’t change the issue.

She doesn’t have the damage to pressure lane; she doesn’t have the buffs to allow her ally to pressure the lane; she doesn’t have high enough numbers for “clutch heals”; she doesn’t have the mana pool to naturally support her kit usage requirements; she doesn’t have a way to set up kills for her ally. She literally doesn’t have anything you would want in a support in the early game.

And what really salts the wound is that even at level 6, once you finally get your line AoE stun, you still don’t have the tools to be of much use to your team. Hell i’d argue that she only starts being useful to her team at or past level 11.

Do you not realize how useful she is in Aram? She kinda require the team to be close together to be useful. If you don't like that, you are playing the wrong champion. Period.
