Mastery 1-5 means you played the champ before, doesnt tell anything about how and how well. I have champs on lv 5 that im complete garbage on and champs sub 5 that im ok or great on.

Its not a guarantee. But if its so easy to get mastery 4.. and you STILL DONT HAVE IT, yet play the champ in ranked... you're an ahole. Thats what the OP is saying, and I agree with him.

People always use this argument and it blows my fucking mind.

I am aware that Mastery doesn't tell you how well they play it. Can we at least agree that it's more information than we have when they don't have a mastery? Can we agree that they probably have some knowledge of matchups based on Rank 5?

It's as if people are throwing away logic because if they agree, we might see real policy mandated, and they don't want to be restricted. If folks stopped thinking "What about me" and started saying "this is better for the overall community" we'd have a better discussion.

You want to inspire your team to have some degree of confidence in your abilities. Mastery goes some distance in achieving that.

Low skill champions like Annie, Janna, Warwick or Xin Zhao doesn't really need that much time for mastery 4 or under to understand them really. I'll only look it more on higher skilled champions like Riven, Le Blanc, Fiora or Kalista to see if they put some effort in learning them.

You do know there is a thing called Kill stacking right? Where you can get M7 on a champion and still not know how to play the game right? I have M7 on Jhin and I do not play ADC's I just sit bot and push. When someone comes to me I kill them and continue to farm. And bronze you can do anything and get and S in it. I have seen Soraka Jungle in bronze completely curb stomp a nidalee to the point that soraka was 7/0. It was funny to watch that happen.

Had a game where Mid Garen destroyed a Lux that he was 10/0 at 20 minutes. Mid Blitz force a syndra to rage quit the game.
