@Meddler Enough with the Soraka nerfs, please!

I've been trying Soraka out on the pbe, and the Grievous Wounds is a hard hit. It's harder keeping my allies alive, especially to an 8s Grievous Wounds. If you're going to keep nerfing Soraka, then you owe it to her that Wish removes Grievous Wounds again. There is nothing to assess here: Grievous Wounds is hitting her pretty hard, like it should be, and she's receiving her eighth set of nerfs since December.

If you think about it, Soraka was generally fine before season 6. Then GW was changed, and she became powerful, and as a result, received 8 nerfs through the next 4 months. Don't you think changing GW back to the way it was, will put her back at her generally balanced state during season 5? The nerf after nerf is only going to make her worse off, unless you allow Wish to remove GW again.

Please. That's all Soraka needs to have a chance against GW on top of her many nerfs.

I agree with this. That or just reduce the cooldown on her heal, which I doubt is something anyone really wants to happen. (Except Soraka mains!)

I'd rather they revert the most recent nerfs to the mana cost of Starcall and Astral Infusion. The slew of nerfs are excessive at this point. Grievous Wounds already affects her strongly, and I've been playing pbe frequently. Without Wish removing GW, she's going to be crippled at high elo.

Ah yes, I don't have a PBE account so I've just been reading the changes. I think she has been fine and adding more nerfs is def. not the right course of action. I could deal with the change on her R, I even learned to deal with the shortening of her range. And now she hardly heals herself at all with her q but even that - I can deal with. I feel like she is going to become a joke and nobody would choose her over sona or another healer. Anyway, I am rambling, you have my full support.

Yeah. She still functions decently with the GW changes, but the way it affects Wish, her high moment, is just an awful feeling. She has amazing, powerful synergy with the changes to Athenes. I was healing for 400 as soon as I purchased, which was around 18m. But once the enemy bought Morellonomicon, healing and keep allies alive became stressful and scary. I hate that they are nerfing her ulility on top of her heals already being weakened by the patch alone.

She's going to be crippled even with Wish removing GW as all it takes to reapply the debuff is a single auto attack.

What I really don't get is why the hell she needs additional nerfs along with this one. They are already giving every AD champion an ability to severely cripple her with a 800 gold purchase. That is not enough so she needs direct nerfs? I guess "wait and see how item changes roll out first" treatment is reserved for the likes of Zed only.

She wont be crippled even if Wish removes GW, though. I've mained her for 6 years, before season 1 even started, and throughout seasons 1 - 4, Wish didn't remove GW. GW also wasn't easily accessible, either, with just Ignite and Morellonomicon existing. Morellonomicon has had its GW duration buffed to 8s, though, and ad champions have ease of access to applying GW. If her high moment, Wish, can at least ignore Grievous Wounds, she'd be in a great spot.

Soraka's a great healer, but she needs something to shackle her down so she doesn't get out of hand. That's the problem now, Soraka's out of hand and hard to balance because GW doesn't affect her live. 6.9, Soraka will have GW holding her down a little, but with GW also affecting her ult with how easy it is to access and apply GW, Soraka's going to receive a hard hit. All Wish needs to do is remove GW, even if it's for a very small moment, to do her job as a healer and save her ally.
