Is Draven too Strong?

Not sure why, but with just his Q, the guy can deal somewhere over 1200 damage by level 16. No hacks. No bad playing. He's just able to take out someone in less than 2 to 3 hits. At least 5 or 6.

I don't see to many Draven players out there. But that (to me) seems like a bigger issue than Graves gaining some extra armor and magic resist.

I can understand his Q should deal a good amount of damage, but he already has a Global Ultimate, a speed boost for movement speed and AS, and a slow. The dude even gains bonus gold way better than Gangplank. Draven and Gangplank are so similar yet (despite Gang being a fighter and Draven being a marksman) they are very different.

He has an immensely high skill cap. Catching axes while kiting in teamfights is hell. Plus if theres a thresh/morg/blitz supp on their team, or anyone with skillshots, they can easily predict where he is going to go since they can see where his q is going to land. If he gets killed 2 or more times in laning phase he is most likely done for, since his passive only helps him snowball, not stay consistant throughout the game. In my opinion, he is the #1 definition of high risk high reward. If he gets screwed over early game he's done for. If he snowballs early game, the enemy team is done for.

No he isn't. Yes he's gonna smack you in the face, but that is because he got fed in the first place. Draven needs to be fed in order to compete with other ADCs but when he does, you don't wanna be against him.

look at corki season 6 late game ( and he has a mid game power spike like drav with trinity n magic pen boots ) ur dead in 1 combo + he has poke + great escape option + aoe slow engage(package) + mixed damage ( good luck tanks ) yeah so maybe draven is just a little stong (not)

First, I'm impressed you found this post.

Second, this was something I posted a year ago. I'm use to Draven now. I also understand what you're saying about Corki. He's fun and it took me while to learn how to use him.

Not sure why you're posting on a already dead post... but I'm still impressed you were even able to find this.
