Yasuo - The point when League went downhill
Yasuo is everything I personally hate about a champion. He is designed purely to be "flashy" and "edgy" because he appeals to anime fans. His kit so blatantly superior to most champions because he doesn't use mana and he gets a free shield... for walking. His introduction showed a marked shift in League's game design, when Riot started to become greedy and started creating champions that made profit at the expense of game balance.

- They all stem from his design philosophy of "Make money at the expense of a more enjoyable game".
Basically, I see him as the sole reason that League has become so boring. One team totally destroys the other usually in casual games (I do not care about the competitive scene because in my mind, if somebody is truly a "master" of this game, they should be able to win with the weakest, non-meta champions).
I do not understand why Yasuo players also tend to be rather arrogant and see League as some kind of "anime" where they are central protagonist. His kit is fundamentally one of the most forgiving in the game, providing him with near limitless mobility at the cost of no mana at all. Even
suffers horrific mana drawbacks if you keep spamming his ultimate, and that is just pure mobility rather then mobility + damage + combo potential that Yasuo has.
I think this is when the game just started to become very dull and very repetitive. He will always highlight the turning point where Riot went from small developer, who cared about their company integrity, to corporate empire who stopped caring about their game or the people in it, at the expense of money.
It also marked the point where League would do the same as Konami does with Yugioh, bring out something DELIBERATELY overpowered so that people buy it and then nerf it down after a few months, its a continual cycle of corporate greed and one that I won't contribute to.
I find it really hard to believe that nobody put their hand up at the conceptual stage and said... "A champion like this is going to completely change the direction of the game"
