a neat little trick to using bard's ult.

sometimes ulting the enemy team is necessary as if can give your high cc teamcomp a chance to ready groupwide facestomping cc. but there are other, much more likely circumstances in which you will have a decision to use your ult.

if you feel you can't hit more than 2 people with bard's ult, shift the focus from the mobile targets, and the immobile targets. instead of aiming for a harder to land delayed skillshot on a group of moving enemy's, try ulting just their turret. that alone is enough to make a team falter just long enough for you to pounce and get the advantage if a champion is standing far enough away from his minion wave at your turret, don't ult him and your turret! instead ult all of the minions behind him and FORCE that tower to hit him until he either leaves or you can get him so low its easy pickings once you get there.

Ulting all the minions so that the tower switches targets... Never thought of that one before.

I like to wait until the enemy bruiser jumps into your team, then ult the rest of their team so there's no followup. Poor bruiser gets blown up 1v5.

I also ult the enemy adc/mage if they're back far enough, especially if they're super fed. Just keep them out of the fight entirely.

(like in tank comps where three of them are engage tanks)

The Ult is regularly too large to fit inside the space of the turret and minions. If you add a champ that's also attacking the turret then you'd just be ulting the enemy anyways...

Yeah, but a lot of times they'll instinctively dodge the ultimate and get caught 1v1 against the tower.

aim the edge of your skillshot at the tower.i throw my ults halfway in rapter camp just to get just the edge of my ult to hit the tower. or i aim them at the edge of the map on other towers.

you can also use your ult to ult one nexus tower when you have a smaller wave and want to burst that one down quick.

his possibilities are nearly endless dude.
