Is there a reason he can two shot me when I have 4.2k health as Vlad? His kit is very simplistic, and with Rylai's his ult is inescapable sans movement abilities. What does he do to merit that much damage?

I had a Spirit Visage and a bit of MR from runes. ~90 in game. He had an abyssal, but was never close enough to use it on me. He'd just throw an E and his ult, and I'd pop. Doubly fast if he used Q on me.

only 90 that is your problem all he has to do is have some magic pen in his runes then build one magic pen item and he will get over that easy but i'm still trying to think how he two shot 4200 health tho...

so 22.8 magic pen 540 ap

first part of his Q does 680 and does another 476.04 on next auto

the E does 500 then the aftershock does 558

his ult does 520 on cast then does 674 every 2 seconds over 6.5 seconds the ult alone can do a total of 2542

this is all with out calculating all the masteries and i forgot about the 14.9 from runes but it is 2 in the morning here

after all the extra math you would have to do from runes and masteries it looks very possible for him to knock you out quickly

If only I knew what the 2 dragons that Viktor 's team got and what 3 dragons Sciela's team got. Sadly that information is not included on the op.gg website.

I've already did a Replay.gg check, though I'll just check match history to see if it does... Nope, It doesn't say either. =/

Anyways with Replay.gg I found out Sciela's team got 3 Ocean Drakes. While Viktor's team only got 1 Mountain Drake, though they did get one Elder Dragon though.

My team had like every water dragon that ever existed. He had an earth dragon, and got an elder later on.

With or without elder though, he could still instantly kill me. Prevented me from really doing much late game without just popping.

Q did ~900 damage. E did ~850 damage. His ult just finished me off.

I mean, assuming those did 950 and 900 damage (We'll put them on the higher end of the spectrum), that's 1,850 damage. That'd leave you with 2,350 health. The wiki is as follows:

MAGIC DAMAGE: 100 / 175 / 250 (+ 50% AP) 「 MAGIC DAMAGE PER TICK: 150 / 250 / 350 (+ 60% AP)

Let's say he had 700 AP. The initial hit of his ult would have done 600 damage. You now have 1,250 health left. If we factor the ap coefficient, it adds 420 (Blaze it!) damage to his base on the damage per tick, which brings it to 770 damage per second. You'd have died by the second tick. This isn't even accounting for your magic resistance which invariably would have negated some of the upfront damage, you using your Q to sustain partway through it, your pool or even a Zhonya's.

I would say you were crushed quite thoroughly.

Yeah, I know he does a lot of damage. I'm just asking why he deserves such absurdly high scalings and base damages. >.> Vlad has a much higher skillcap now, and does a fraction of the damage that Viktor put out.

Vlad:

Short range
Predictable, telegraphed kit
Uses own health as a resource
No mobility
No hard CC
Damage in staggered bursts, low sustained DPS
Incredible sustain
Mostly single-target damage

Viktor

Long range
Hard CC
Non-telegraphed kit for the most part
Irrelevant mana costs
No mobility
Shield and MS for using Q
Incredible burst and sustained
TONS of AoE

Now, between those two, I'd say Viktor is a lot easier to do well with. Add on the fact that he can INSTANTLY kill me when I have 4.2k HP and ~90 MR... yeah, he's a lot stronger. I can do maybe 1500 instantly, 2.2kish if I add in Protobelt -- and that's all with skillshots / my predictable Q.
