Master Yi "buffs" did nothing (obviously)

Thinking that this shit will help Yi crawl from dumpster is just madness.

His win rate is even dropping more http://lolalytics.com/champion/MasterYi/

well if people see "buffs" every one runs to play that champ and claim they are a main just cuz they might think he is strong atm.... therefore you get a bunch of no yi players playing yi trying to get free wins /elo and they realize that ( hurts me to say this) there is some skill to playing him effectively

this is shitty excuse not to improve a champion. If non Yi player play him that means they like him and every champion designer should try their best to make their champions as much fun, appealing and effective as possible

He's a late game solo hyper carry in an early game meta, of course he's weak.

And in which meta YI was actually strong pick?

The ones where Master Yi wasn't played as a melee carry but a Kat clone with more untargetability.

Its not meta pick if champion even in his strongest form is not picked in competitive even once.

I think lethality hurt him. Yi is mostly played jungle and the lethality assassins do well against him. I liked the ideas behind yi buffs. Also yi needs a frontline and can't initiate or One shot someone. So teams don't know what to do with one on their team. Also solo q doesn't know how to team comp. If I fp jungle yi 5th pick top Insta locks fiora and rages about no tank on the team.....

The only reason his winrated dropped is because of meta-babies thinking the W changes were going to make him OP, so they spammed him. It's not that the changes were bad, it's that kids don't understand that because a champion gets a small buff they shouldn't jump onto the bandwagon.

Not a Yi player but from what I see whenever I face one ( probably the bad ones ) they all see to have an indestructible complex and don't seem to grasp the concept of pre-charging him up before diving in, Most Yi's I face seem to think they can dive in untargetable and then just pop his healing to survive, they rarely if ever actually coordinate with their teams. Although not a Yi specific problem I'm pretty sure an invulnerable complex is usually a bad thing.

His win rate is the same as before. Those buffs barely improved anything and Yi pretty much feels the same as before and very interesting how everybody got so hyped about something so little

His ganks didn't become better compare it with Lee Sin for instance his laning phase ain't better compared to Riven that being ganked for instance and the only thing that is improved more obviously is his jungle clear

And the meditate buffs is very weak form of mastery. Maybe the best usable thing about it is that it pauses the duration of your abilities but Meditate 4 seconds to get full stacks of double strike is way too long and everybody can deal with that easily.

And yesterday i just found out that Rengar does not respect 65% damage reduction at all. I was pretty much 1 shotted during Meditate

If Master Yi needs auto reset why don't he gets full stacks of Double Strike and Auto Reset when actives Wuju Style? It makes perfect sense if you need auto reset instead just wasting 35 seconds ability that primary purpose is damage reduction and healing and wasting it for auto reset does not make you better player. Just makes you more dumb that you wasted something that has defensive purpose, which instead is being used as auto attack reset

I had one moment where I outplayed a Blitzcrank and Rumble in a 1v2 and killed the Rumble due to the extra burst of my double strike from W and an alpha auto, but yeah, Yi's performance barely rose with the buff. He needs more help.
