Because of how powerful everyone is, and how powerful towers aren't you can use it in 2 main ways.

Let it push a wave somewhere and 5 man elsewhere, forcing a 4v5 as someone goes and deals with it. Or use it to tank waveclear as you brute force towers down as 5 while avoiding the no-minion buff that Towers get making it hard to seige.

Ow, and that whole Baron thing where they end the game solo for you. You just have to stand there.
