This is a stupid champion that I seriously would rather perma-ban than ever risk a game against. He literally becomes unkillable if he's ahead in any way. Like, Yi? Just have CC. Yasuo? Just take Annie. Zed? He falls of late. Urgot? Wtf, don't even try.
I know his counter! Lulu, just polymorph. An Urgot who can't press any buttons is a... sorta dead Urgot? Probs not, he'll just suck her in feet first into his meat shredder.

Urgot is very immobile and lacks a lot of range, so people who can dish out damage while remaining tanky do well against him. Squishy targets or people who have to get in close and can't survive his DPS will just get slaughtered.

Kled is actually a huge counter, tbh. Urgot doesn't really out-damage you, your passive just invalidates his ult, you out-maneuver him easily, chase better, have a better escape...
Literally just wait out his W and kick his ass. And if he manages to flip you just E back to the other side.

Kled is, IMO, only a counter when he's mounted. If he's unmounted, he's extremely easy to execute with ult. His slower movement speed also makes it harder to avoid Urgot's Q+E, and if you get E'd you're definitely gonna get ulted.
DuskDaUmbreon1 votesThat is true, but Kled usually loses most matchups when unmounted, unless he can quickly get re-mounted.
Thankfully, Urgot's rather large hitbox and difficulty kiting away from even unmounted Kled (allowing for you to get your entire W chain off easily and likely hit him with your entire Q) makes it relatively easy to get Skaarl back.

Keep in mind, sometimes it is a case of going even with a champ in lane until mid-game. (Urgot is not mobile and even in his overbuffed state, that is a major weakness.) As for beating him in lane, and you have picked one of those champs that gets countered by him, then you basically just have to beat him like you would with any lane bully - patience and teamwork.
Done251 votesActually, Urgot has a 40% lane win rate and a 44.5% game win rate vs Mordekaiser of all people. Liss loses lane a little, but wins the game. Yasou wins both the lane (hard) and the game.
