Who thinks Anivia is hard gives me cancer

Even there are people who think her R is a skillshot.

So safe, hard to counter, thanks to her E-R single targeted mini Syndra ult and hard to kill as fuck when she bought RoA, Seraph with passive.

She is not OP but not hard to play neither.

I won't entirely say that she's hard to play but she is not as easy as you are making it out to be. Her pre-6 game is just terrible and relies on the slowest moving skill shot in the game, and if she misses it she literally can't do anything until its back up. Plus she has possibly the most amount of weaknesses in the game, and with her best build imo (tear into RoA) she takes a lot of time to really ramp up giving the opponent a lot of time to take the advantage.

Though saying all of that, I'll admit that once she reaches level 6 and is able to do her E-R combo, she does become a lot more easier. However, she still is the most mana hungry champion in the game, with the lowest base HP, slowest movement speed with no form of mobility. I don't consider her "hard" but more just average. Oh and also it's very easy to counter Anivia, just play a mage who can easily push her to tower. Her pre-6 can't handle farming under tower and even when you reach level 6, the ultimate kills way to much mana to keep it up. That's why I consider champions like Ziggs and Vel'koz one of the most annoying to fight as Anivia.

Though I do find it funny that some people think that her R is a skill shot lol.

Everything that you said I more or less agree with, but as someone who has played Anivia since early season 2, I think that her wall (Crystallize) is probably her hardest ability to land and also the one most people tend to forget about when playing her. Just some more food for thought.

I agree on that, I've started playing Anivia since Mid/Late Season 3 and consider her my main (and the only champion I got at rank 5) and her wall is pretty hard to use right. For a while when I was starting to learn her, I would be to scared to use my wall in a team fight since it can easily screw over your team lol. I could use her wall pretty good now, but I could understand people that might try to learn her to have more trouble with her wall than her Q.

There are also just so many different ways to use it that it takes a long time to learn. I've played close to three-hundred games on her, and I still find myself using Crystallize at less than its full power all the time. It's one of those spells where you can always go back to a replay and think "I could have done that better"

"Her pre six is terrible" that's the time I go and feed her wtf u talking about? Shuld just remember how I can win against her... lane, no aggression, don't try to win it, killing is not neccessary. Stay outa q range and k.

My post was 8 months ago, I don't know why you're responding to it. Also I still stand by my statements back then, her pre-6 game is still bad. It relies 100% at the enemy being to slow to dodge her Q, which still to this day is one of the slowest and easiest to dodge skill shot in the game. Yes her laning phase at level 6 does become strong, but her pre-6 is so easy to abuse. As long as you can dodge that Q, her damage is literally nothing. Even Janna's W does more damage than Anivia if you can dodge her Q pre-6.

Also about winning lane against her, You have a lot of options to pick against Anivia that works great. Assassins do well into her because they have strong burst that can easily out-trade her. Yes you would think that her egg is a counter to assassins but with her base stats being so low to compensate for her egg, it honestly evens out. Plus you just have to force her egg before going fully all in. Not to mention most Assassins has so much mobility that it's extremely easy to dodge her Q and punish her for it, at least pre-6. At level 6, most assassins become a skill match-up.

Assassins: Diana Ekko Fizz Leblanc Zed are Assassins that generally do well or beat her in lane Especially Fizz...probably one of the hardest counters to her honestly.

Wave clear/Poke: Then you have the poke/wave clear which counters her because they can wave clear so much faster and cost less mana to do so. Anivia's Cost are really high which usually forces scaling mana items. Poke champions counter her because her E and R range isn't all that high, and she has the slowest movement speed on top of the lowest base HP so it's easy to hit her with poke and it generally hurts her more than most mid laners.

Every champions is easy to play decently.

It's knowledge of their match-ups, item builds, and properly knowing and performing their role at every point of the game that's hard.

Even there are people who think her R is a skillshot.

It's as much of a skillshot as Talon's, Lux's, or even Malphite's abilities (not all of them, mind you. Just some).

Keep in mind that some champions have non-skillshot ultimates and are considered, at the very least, "not easy." Like Zed
