darius is not that bad

i played him before the change and after. i average 14 kills a game as darius in ranked and i haven't played ranked on my main in quite a bit. and im only silver 3. but everything i do in a game as new darius like go 9/1 or 14/2, i was doing well before even cinderhulk meta started. he's always been good. he's just got an actual tanky buildpath that doesn't let him fall off stupidly lategame. maybe he should fall off a bit, but darius is STILL far from broken. he's got clear-cut counterpicks for him. you can't expect to take a melee in with darius the king of melee's and expect to win. diversify your roles. ranged top is hated, but only by people who hate change.

good counters (no good riven will EVER lose a matchup to darius. animation cancelling is EXTREMELY strong. you can stun a guy before your dash ends. abuse it) ranged tank is op ranged tank op interrupts, range, %health aa and sustain. win maybe not in lane but in lategame you're MUCH more useful.

and for people who qq about how theyre all ops here's some fun off-meta picks that can beat darius if you practice a LOT

stun him with your q every time he tries to farm. aa repeatedly till he backs off. flat ad and cdr runes needed. get chimes when low build gauntlet and laugh as you kite him to death STILL faster than darius, can root, constantly harass, and deny him gold from kills/farm. easy to get out of q range with vault now since its on a big delay. blind op. long range 3 second snare with aoe dots and spell immunity. she can beat a lot of people handily. still op just not played near as much as she used to be thanks to new meta.
