What I'd like to see happen with Grasp

I think Grasp is a pretty healthy mastery overall but currently if you can abuse CoC, you take it over Grasp. If you can't, then you're kind of stuck with Grasp, SS or potentially even Fervor.

Grasp is supposed to be the sustain option for melee tanky fighters and tanks. But one of the reasons it's so weak is it was too good at both sustain and doing considerable damage overtime, especially once you bought bamis cinder and constantly proc'd it last season.

Now it's weak and I would be cautious to buff this mastery too because it became an extremely oppressive mastery in the hands of early game bruisers and tanks like Poppy, Nautilus and even Rammus top (short lived as it was). I truly believe the masteries concept is fine but the fact that it does damage is probably its biggest problem. I would love to see it be changed to all sustain where it's currently proc'd the same way but instead of doing damage, any damage dealt returns a certain percentage of like up front (a small percent) and then a certain amount overtime. This way, the sustain doesn't feel too overbearing upfront, resulting in it straight up out trading because the result of so much up front healing. Its basically interactive health regen increasing and it would be ideal for weak early game champions to take it vs lane bullies.

It's not a bad option on Nasus, Darius or any melee prone to being kited who can deal enough damage to proc it. It was really common on vlad and is pretty common on Ryze too.
