now I'm not saying the item itself is bad, but I'm more of asking why people don't build it

its got a really nice engage tool, at the point in the game where passives > stats at times, especially for tanks.

why not pick up the item to oompf your engage a bit?

maybe I'm just dumb, but I find it fun barreling at that cait at 600 ms.

I personally don't build it because it gives flat health with no resistances, and since I can get the same amount of health from say Sunfire or Deadmans, I would like the resistances that come with those items instead of a movement speed buff with a rather long cooldown.

But that's just me.

Used to be the go to movement boost item. But I think it got replaced with the Constant MS from Dead man's plate.

With the catalyst changes, you would think it would work well with Caster tanks like Maokai. But a lot of those champs might prefer RoA if they chose a catalyst item. And some of the time, they don't even worry about the mana.

Actually, looking at it's stats again, I'm not sure if it's that slot efficient. Almost as if they are not sure if it should be a lane item or a support item.

the item isn't overly bad, its just that i would rather have a randuins. getting in isn't the issue, its just the effect doesn't justify another slot when you could have something else which is better or even more useful.

if there was a 7th item slot, RG would be picked up way more.

TahmKench Braum and sometimes Volibear are the only ones I generally build it on.

Nothing more fun than having an ally in your stomach when you activate item 3800 as TahmKench

But I never rush this item since it has no resistance. Better as a 3rd or 4th item.
