There's honestly only one buff Garen needs to be a viable pick, and idk why Riot hasn't done it yet.

Get rid of the "wind up" time on his silence, so you don't have like 5 seconds to flash/gapclose out of it once he starts winding up his attack.

5 seconds is an exaggeration, yes, but it illustrates how fucking sad the skill is right now. It literally gimps his autoattack so it takes LONGER to do an empowered silence autoattack than it does a regular autoattack.

If you really want to see this in action, go into practice mode and buy static shiv. You can consistently proc the shiv WITHOUT ATTACKING by right clicking something and then cancelling the attack, because you have like almost an entire second to cancel it. It's silly.

Not sure why you are being downvoted. The windup on his Q and ultimate are hilariously long.

the one on the ultimate isnt even as bothersome, since th enemy getting out of range at the point where youre ulting doesnt matter as much. as long as the ability doesnt bug out and still connects, its enough.

but yea, his q animation is ridiculous.

if they keep it, they could at least buff the ability by making it similar to talons/warwicks q. where it gets a bonus effect when activated while already in melee range of the enemy.

THANK YOU.

I've had people auto attack and cast an ability as I q'd them. Why is an already telegraphed move (he Yells and runs at you while his sword glows) telegraphed again? I know he can conceal the 1st telegraph by plain old walking up to you, but people should have learned he had that ability in bots. They should legit just use his crit animation (comes out with a super fast stab).
