No. 1- He doesn't consider if something is too far or not. 2- He doesn't care about players frustration. 3- He designs for the sake of designing. Gameplay is the least of his concern. Game health is the least of his concern. 4- Most to all his champions went through hell to be half acceptable. 5- He's probably the biggest controversy in the history of champion design. 6- He's a designer if he works alone, he will go too far unless he works with someone. Warwick rework is a good example.

Am I saying he's a bad designer? No. But saying he's the best is not something to say as a fact. As an opinion sure. Releasing champions who are memes (Yasuo), frustrating (Zoe and Akali), high ban rate (Akali), and went through so much changed (Thresh), those are features that makes a designers undeserving for the term "best" by any means.

The things I listed are what they are supposed to matter. Making mechanics that are toxic and unhealthy for the game. Akali's true stealth shroud is an example of that.

Profitable yes. But doesn't make him good.

He makes champions people like playing and that's really all that matters in the long run. No other dev combines mechanical depth with strategic value on a level even close to CT has done with Yasuo and Akali

Yes they are relevant. They are basically the main point of CT problems.

Fun to play as at the cost of the opponent's fun and even the ally's fun.

If this is the design philosophy then they need to get a new one asap. Worst philosophy ever.

Rumor has it that CT wanted to add a massive aoe fear on WW's ulti but couldn't because you guessed it, he wasn't working alone. Warwick with fear on his E and Ulti. Seems healthy and maybe fun for the Warwick mains.

League is a game. And games are supposed to be fun. Whether you win or lose. Even if it's competitive.

Do you know what a game is? Do I have to explain what the term "game" means? I can explain it if you want. I can even explain it on both English and Arabic if you want.

Regardless of what you think, league is a game that we are supposed to enjoy. Leave it to the pro players to cry if they lose because they are at risk of losing a trophy, but not us.

Are you fucking kidding me now? It doesnt MATTER? So let me get this straight. So when a champ is being designed, they should totally ignore gameplay's health just because they want them to feel unique. When a champ is designed he should feel oppressive to the enemy from the get go. And he should be an overall balance nightmare.

You have to be joking now. In order for someone to gain the title of "best" he has to be well, how can i say this, someone worthy of such title. Ct DOESNT deserve it. He creates "fun" champs in the expense of his enemy fun. He is know to create abilities that are 100% op (looking at you windwall and true stealth on top of giving energy). He breaks gameplay sense (yasuo's ulti blinks him to a airborne target however sometimes when this blink would place him under turret, it will try to place him in a safe location like WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK RIOT, zoe's being able to pick up summs).

Competitive game is about competing not fun. Go play bots if your only goal is to have fun.

Wind wall is fair and so is Akali's stealth.

You really cant grasp the meaning of a game do you? Even a game as competitive as lol is by its inherited nature, well, just a game. Its existance is to make you have fun. If i wanted to do my chores then i would turn my face in real life. I play lol to have fun. Even ranked where winning is all it matters, even with wins i might not have fun because of how awful the game can get. With pleasure if they were capable of providing a challenge.

Yeah sure and im the next president of USA.

But on a serious note both of these abilities have no counterplay apart the usual, engage them when its down. Which is unhealthy. Oh and please for the love of god, dont you dare mention pro play. Dont. The 99% of the total population on lol will never reach pro stage. 99% of the population will be forever here in solo q.

He IS a good designer. He makes pretty cool, new, and refreshing concepts. He turns out champions, and reworks, that are fun to play (generally) - and for the most part fun to compete against.

That said:

He is crap with math, and he himself is not the best PLAYER of League. To be fair, there is no real skill difference in the PBE and Normal games. Originally we could all sign up, then it merely became a question of honor. Because of this, the most highly abused aspects of his champions aren't discovered UNTIL THEY GET TO LIVE, and the rest of the playerbase figures it out.

In high elo, Yasuo Thresh Darius Graves Zoe are balanced Mordekaiser is viable if you know how to play him as his mains who got challenger showed Warwick is getting buffed Cait is getting buffed Akali is the only one unbalanced

I mean yeah he is the best champion dev ,he has kept more players playing this game then any other champion dev. Balance means nothing if no one is playing.
