Ayzev1 votesThat may not be the smartest of statements. But try to be fair and understand where they come from. Yasuo has consistently been one of the most complained about and most banned champions since his release. There's clearly something wrong with him. We have had other champions reworked due to being unfun to play against, and they're keeping one of the worst offenders in that regard an exception.
And even if Yasuo was perfectly fine, 95% of posts being shitposts is not a valid reason to ignore the 5% that do have something of value. It's not like this ratio is any better elsewhere.
PermaJinxed2 votesI'll point out... E is aoe with two charges(unless you whiff). Putting the shield break on that would be INCREDIBLY bad for teamfights. If you suggest "make it only remove from the first target hit, or first champion hit" then you have effectively removed his armor shred AND replaced it with a 90% useless teamfight skill.
It NEEDS to be on w because that is the long cooldown and only single target basic skill Renekton has.

removing 35% armor pen in favor of shield breaking makes renekton weaker against non-shield champions, and better against shield champions

From how I see it the armor reduction is used to easily dominate in trade during early game. If they're going to give rene a mechanic that takes no skill to land that could basically destroy certain team comps (protect the kog for example), he deserves to be nerfed in his overdominant laning phase now.

Ye makes sense , but I'm saying it isn't that broken on his W if if it only breaks the shield when stunning during the empowered AA

And his W breaks the shield before it deals damage.
Or is your argument for it being "balanced" is you thinking that his W can only be empowered once per fight....
Schenix1 votesThat would make it hard for him to fight a lot of top champions as the lane went on. Reducing the armor shred or scaling it and adding shield break might be more suited to consider. Even just straight adding Shield Break to E or W only when he is in Ultimate is a reasonable decision rather than straight break on a point and click stun.
Honestly a cool idea would be that Renektons Ultimate makes his aura decay Shields twice as fast.

That way, if he wants to have shield break in lane, he would have to sacrifice his Q healing/damage and his mobility since he will have to max Q second so E will be left on a very high cd by default. Isn't that better?

your suggestion to balance his shieldbreak is good, but you're doing it at the cost of him sacrificing his lane renek can't play without maxing Q first, so essentially you're making it so he will virtually never have a shieldbreak
