Players do not hate Zed and Azir because of "plays"

Players hate Azir, because with some grasp of his abilities and Rylais he completely denies anything with shorter range than him.

Players hate Zed, because for most his enemies the only reasonable strategy is to play extremely defensively, due to his extreme long range poke and kill potential.

I feel like this needed to be said, because in every thread about them there are several players saying how "playing against someone maining a high skillcap champion is always a tilting experience".

Personally I hate Zed because it seems really hard to punish him for his mistakes.

It probably isn't, but it seems hard. If he brings me too low with his shurikens, then I can't jump on him without risking his passive damage.

Does his shadow return cost energy? If not then giving it an energy cost in his current state would gut him. They'd have to rework how his energy costs work.

I'm gonna do a little digging now.

Edit: I did some digging, his shadow return doesn't cost energy. It might be interesting if it did, but his energy returning abilities would have to be tweaked.

Or given a larger energy pool like Shen.

His mobility is on a 22 second CD, and his Q's damage was nerfed. So poke and safety is down, and he is very reasonable now.

He relies so hard on Rylais that any nerf to t is basically direct Azir nerf anyways, isn't it?
