It's all about cheesing someone.

As a jungler, got scuttle? Okay GG, didn't get scuttle and died? GG for me

As a mid laner, can I outburst him before he out bursts me? If not, GG, if I can, GG for him

As a top laner, did I get the counter pick in champ select? If so GG, if not, GG for me

As an ADC, did our teams fiesta fair better than there fiesta bot lane? if so GG for them, if not, GG for us

As a support player, did the enemy support roam before I did to kill a laner? If so GG for me, if not GG for them because I was there first

There's barely any damage foresight anymore, there's barely any strategy. It's just who can run over the other person first.

You could argue it takes skill and/or game knowledge to perform all those tasks better than the player on the other side though?

I get that it feels cheesy, it kinda does, but thats just how the meta shaped out to be this season. Next season will be different as they make their "changes for the sake of change" jungle/lane updates.

If Riot keeps changing shit for the sake of change, the game is over... Riot needs to make heavy changes during preseason 9 that are necessary to fix the issues League is facing at the moment. Lets be real, here. League has been garbage since pre-season 8.

Season 8 has been a total mess. So many unnecessary changes, high damage, and rng elements. All of these were implemented to cater toward casual players. The game has been dumbed down so that low skilled players can one shot high skilled players. It's all about who shoots first. The skill-gap has been diminished.

Riot needs to focus all of their changes during preseason 9 and leave midseason 9 only for balance issues. If Riot does that, the game will be at a healthier and stable state. League will return to the competitive side.

I feel you ma dude. Im not sure how long youve been playing league, but im from Pre Season 2 and i can tell ya... They change shit for the sake of change every...damn...year. Some of it well received, a lot of it not so much.
