Anyone know the counterplay to Yasuo mid lane if you don't play another assassin?

I'd like to know if anyone knows how to play against Yas mid or top. Seems like he just can't be stopped, he's able to use abilities through stuns and pass through Veigar barrier with ease, base move speed makes him able to travel through Event Horizon without any issue and his dash makes it so he isn't stunned by it.

Nope. If he plays even close to adequately there is no real counterplay.

Malzahar. I have posted several times about it. You can crush most Yasuo's with Malzahar if properly played.

Renekton Nocturne top or mid You can crush him in 1v1 early on and basically kick him out of the game.

Most ppl won't even think about Noc as mid champ, but it works against big portion of mages, assasins and relatively good vs Yas, he can block your Q with windwall, but who cares? Just AA with lethal tempo and block his 3rd Q with W.

If you are into more conventional picks, you can't go wrong with Malzahar or you can just afk lane with aftershockLissandra .

Top most fighter beat him just any time he is in range of you fight him.

Mid: Malzahar is super good.

Yasuo will get stunned if he tries to dash through Event Horizon

.......what? None of this is true. Yasuo cannot dash though Veigar's cage once its up

Early game you need too keep his shield down so if he does commit to a fight you can trade back.
