Players paying for boost and streaming it live.

I've reported 2 players that stream boosting accounts. Have talked about it in game and even posted on youtube. They talk about it in game and offer it then invite you to discord to set up paypal transactions. They switch between accounts that they keep in different ELOs to help people climb. I've reported these people over and over again, given riot links to their streams, youtube channels, and even account names but they remain unbanned. If, even with all that evidence they aren't banned, what do you have to do to get boosters banned?

If they are not logging into an account they don't own, it's not against the rules. Duo queuing is not prohibited.

Interesting, I always thought paying for boosting was against ToS. That's what I've had Riot Support tell me whenever I submit a ticket.

They explicitly define boosting as logging into someone's account. Otherwise you get interesting lines like, if I duo with a friend in danger of demotion, am I boosting? In some situations it becomes quite close, so they set a hard line a bit further back, at 1 account multiple people.

Since you know Riot so well, can you please confirm: if I pay a dude (he's a challenger player) money so he duos with me until I reach Diamond 1 - is that boosting? Or am I allowed to do that?

And if I'm not allowed to do that, why not? What if the challenger player is "my friend" and I'm "in danger of, say, not getting into Diamond 1"...?

Yes you are. imo its unethical, but by riot's standards, you can do that.

I’d imagine Riot probably frowns on people paying for someone to smurf and duo queue with someone to help them raise ranks, but I don’t think it’s explicitly against the rules.

Where can I get one lol, be nice to counter the Smurfs I always end up playing against .

Yeah it sucks because then theyre gonna play in an ELO they dont belong, and ruin games for people. But, as long as theyre not logging onto their accounts to boost them, I think it doesnt count as anything. Its just duo queueing.
