Hit G3 after a grind and can't get a team to save my life.

I've been back and forth this season, some good some bad. Recently I've been getting poor team mates again and again. I submitted a ticket to Riot asking about how things are supposed to balance out and got a default response about the chances being a 1% variance on if your team is favored to win or lose a given match. Regardless of loss streaks I soldier on. Attempting to pull myself out of this horrible elo hell. I get bot lanes that go 0/12 at less than 20 minutes. Top lanes that are 0/3 at less than 5 minutes. Teams of players who run in one after another pumping the enemy team full of kills.

I submit another ticket and wonder what is the supposed balancing time frame. Are matches supposed to balance out of after 100 games? 200? 1000? How many matches does someone have to play for the matchmaking to balance out teams? I submit this ticket and get another response, "We greatly appreciate your feedback. I know that it is frustrating to have unmatched matches. Especially if you’re already in a higher rank. It’s great to see everyone to be around your skill level.

However, as much as we would love to give you an experience like that, we would not want you to wait forever to get into a match. So, our matchmaking system has to broaden its search for players. That being said, it does not compromise on the fairness of the match."

So what I'm seeing is a staunch decline in my allied teammates due to the game wanting to push out more matches. Personally I'd love more balanced matches and have to wait a little longer for it and not get matched with allies who have a similar win rate against enemies who I've seen with over 60% win rates. It's like they aren't even trying.

I'm not saying I'm good by any means but I attempt to play consistently and perform at a certain level. When I get matched against players who are SUBSTANTIALLY higher skilled it's a horrific letdown almost as much as 99% of the matches I've played in the past 3 weeks. It's a pathetic display to report players for this abysmal behavior only to be matched with them again and again and again.

I understand the only persons play I have any influence over is mine. I get that these constant 3v5's are destroying the game. If it's not someone smurfing, it's someone having their account boosted. If it's not that it's someone who feeds and doesn't listen to pings. If it's not that it's someone who doesn't care at all and just intentionally feeds. I feel like I'm being targeted with these matches and don't know what to do.

I understand how you feel. Sometimes, it seems you're just destined to lose or win, but I think matchmaking itself can't force a match to be balanced. Two silver teams composed of 10 players who each have a 50% WR looks balanced, but that's no longer the case when the red team's toplaner whips out his 80% WR Renekton and the blue team's botlaner whips out his 43% WR Lucian.

Imo, I think you should just say "screw it" and commit to more roams or assist your jungler, who can then assist others, when you notice you're in one of these kinds of situations. You may not have success and it may often put you behind, but those downsides ultimately don't matter if you can't carry on your own. After my absurd amount of games, that's pretty much my biggest takeaway. I can't carry on my own, but I can help lift up heavy teams and sometimes it pays off and allows me to have weeks where I reach 34 wins to 14 losses and whatnot. Sometimes I just ruin teams that'd otherwise carry me, but the 52% WR says the risk is worth it.

Take more risks if the game already looks lost.

It's hard to balance match making because someone has to win and someone has to lose. Also people troll and give up to much in this game instead of trying to win
