People who start this game with no previous MOBA knowledge should be informed on the Meta. It's not fair watching them get bullied and harassed throughout an entire match just because they picked Yorick bot and don't know any better.

I would guess that where Riot loses most of its players is people who don't just play bots to 30 and get extremely toxic teammates because they don't understand the game, and the other players are high-tier smurfs looking to take out their anger on some newbies.

Exactly. I don't know why this issue isn't high on their priority list.
Brutalitops012 votesI dunno. They've said it's on their list to do eventually. I would guess that they're holding off an any features that would have to integrate with the client (like the new tutorial) until the client update so that they don't have to code the entire thing twice. They've said that they plan to introduce an opt-in voice chat, too, once the new client is out, and are waiting for the client for the same reason. Highly likely that the planned Rune rework isn't coming out until with or after the new client, either, again for the same reason.
