Getting slowed by Rylias does not make it op

Getting PERMANENTLY slowed by it from a champ that can constantly refresh the debuff before it wears off makes it OP.

As long as you cant re-apply the slow for at least 1 or 2 seconds after it wears off it won't be an issue. The point of the item is to apply a slow for 1.5 seconds or 1 seconds after landing an ability. NOT "apply a slow until you kill the enemy"

The only thing that needs to be done to the item to fix it is to make the item apply a debuff to you say say you cant be slowed by this item for "X" more seconds. (similar to RekSai not being able to knock up the same target for a specific time, or Yasuo not being able to dash through the same unit for a specific time.

i don't have an exact number but i am guessing 3-5 seconds after the slow starts its effect.

Also.. at least learn which skills have a built in slow on them in the first place. telling me that item 3116's slow is OP on Syndra when she hit you with her W.. (which has a built in slow) just makes you sound stupid.

Assassins and Mages have enough mobility or range to still kill a mage slowing them, but a bruiser/tank shouldn't be trying to fight a mage in the first place. Just like how an assassin shouldn't be trying to kill a tank or a support going against the adc.

Syndra Velkoz etc's slows are barely enough to kite or peel for themselves, even their cc isn't going to stop some 400 movement speed Darius/Garen from catching up to them. A cooldown of 1-2 seconds or only being applied by skillshots would be better.

i do agree the type of abilty that applied the slow should affect the slow %.

for example if it is a large aoe like Lux E or her ulti, or somthing huge like Ziggs ulti

it should have a lower slow % than something that say is a single target spell.

also skill shot should be considered a higher slow that targeted spells

so maybe like a aoe skillshot and a single targeted spell will be the same amount. a DOT will have a smaller slow

and single target skillshot will slow the most.

or idk somthing kinda like that.. i haven't really though of everything.. all i really know is that its the PERMASLOW that needs to be removed.. and not changing the item core stats.

barbecue frankly i would build item 3116 even without the passive because the stats are perfect for my champ. and although item 3027 provides those same stats. it takes 10 min to reach that.. at which time my powerspike when i want those stats would be over. and the extra 20 AP for 200 gold makes a huge difference for my champ.

so honestly.. even WITHOUT any slowing on it at all.. i would build item 3116 core on my champ. it has the EXACT stats i want.. without the delay of item 3027.

Literally every mage has turned into an Ashe. Ashe's kit is built around the slow. Mage kits are not.

.... ok.. and how is that disagreeing with what i am writing? ashe's basic attack apply a slow.. and since that slow last 2 seconds.. and she can auto you again before those 2 seconds are up refreshing the duration.. its becomes a PERMASLOW.

as long as u cant re-apply the slow for at least 1 or 2 seconds after it wears off. it wouldn't be an issue.

i mean the point of the item is to apply a slow for 1.5 seconds or 1 seconds.. not "apply the slow until you kill the enemy"

the isn't "broken" for any champ that USE it as a permaslow... THAT is what makes it broken. if it actually only lasted the 1.5 seconds.. it would be fine... the issue isn't its lasts FOREVER because CERTAIN champs can re-apply the the slow before it wears off and until you die.

downvotes? wtf is wrong with you people.. did you even READ what i wrote? (that was rhetorical, i already know the answer is "No")

i honestly don't understand.. do u WANT rylias to be able to permaslow you? or what? do u hate rylias slow? in which case.. why are you downvoting this?

either way this would fix the issue so.. you're either on an OP champ that is abusing the permaslow mechanic MAKING the whole issue with item 3116 or your not even reading what I'm writing. and are just randomly down voting any thread that has my name on it. (which is more likely the case)

i am not familiar to what happened to her, i know she got seriously nerfed after the cinderhulk meta. but what exactly did they do?

Basically nerf the champion and not the item causing the problem. Then you nerf the item and don't revert or buff the champions that were nerfed because of the item.

oh... THAT. they have done that a few times to different champs.

... im not encouraging it.

item 3116 is ONLY an issue when it can perma slow. do u honestly trust riot (or any coder who has to code through spaghetti code on that many lines of code for one fix) to go through each champion one by one and code thier specific skill so they are NOT permaslowing with it. and NOT seriously screw something up in the process?

adding a simple cooldown is much safer... it means you don't NEED to touch the champs at all.. just the item. and my suggestion will actually FIX the issue.. NOT create more issue without fixing the actual problem.
