Honestly, how often do you even proc rageblade passive if you are not Kayle or Kog?

Most melee champs who use rageblade rarely proc the passive in a fight simply because the don't have the attack speed like ADCs or the don't have the range to constant attack.

Rageblade passive is hard for melee champs to stack up, and has a very small window to use.

I feel like rageblade needs to be revisited as to who can actually use the passive cause right now, there are like only three champs who can use this.

Crit isn't always the way to go, there are some games where on-hit is better than crit.

If you want a melee then Aatrox and MasterYi can build it too and make it work. I'm not saying this is the best item they can buy but they both get huge benefit from that and in some situations it is pretty strong. Champs are bad tho.

that's not why he does it. It's to build his on hit W stacks faster and definitely not better with a crit build when his stacks and abilities do %Hp damage based on stacks

Jax doesn't buy rageblade. No one melee buys rageblade.

Look at the statistics and look at what builds the best Jax players build. You will not find Rageblade within the past year.

Don't forget rageblade Vayne. Yes she's ranged but it can be really nasty if she grabs it.

Vayne + item 3124 item 3153 item 1419 = lulz in a tank meta.

Because he has extremely long range and can easily stack it.

OP should have included Varus in his list of champs that can use it, but his point is that it's too hard for most melees to stack.

Ashe rocks it. Also not many people do this but it works well on Shyvana as a late game boost. Especially if you have item 3078 and. item 1416

Although I agree. Its use is few are far between.

Shyvana doesn't buy Trinity nor Rageblade. She also usually goes Red Smite because she's an auto attack champion.

Ashe doesn't buy Rageblade.

Shyvana's problem is she doesn't have room for rageblade. Last I remember she got item 1419 item 3022 and then a bunch of tanky stuff. Going item 3153 item 3124 just makes her too squishy.

Ya bloodrazor and frozen mallet are amazing on her. But tri and rage blade have her jump in and wreck people in the blink of an eye and push her momentum forward in a fight. You might die more easily than if you build full tank, but you'll kill a lot more as well and be a huge mid game threat.

Bloodrazor, Triforce and Rageblade sounds like such a snowball reliant build that it just doesn't seem feasible for a jungler who doesn't have too much map impact pre-six.

Sure, you kill everything in the blink of an eye, but you die just about as fast, so if they peel for the Varus/Kog/Tristana who will be hitting you, you'll just die horribly.

edit: played a lot of shyvana before so i have a good grasp on what i'm talking about

Incorrect. For one, which smite you get should depend on the enemy team comp. Secondly, blue smite is awesome for auto attack champs because it keeps you autoing longer.

Shyv was my second main last season with much success and I'll tell you now, you're a fool not to get item 3078

I wouldn't go item 3153 on her unless the enemy is ultra tanky and it's your last item. Even then item 3124 might be better.

Also if you haven't bought rage blade on Ashe then you haven't lived. item 3153 item 3071 item 3085 item 3124 and you will shred everything.

Shyvana does not build Trinity, very rarely builds BoRK, and does not build Rageblade (nor does any melee champion). Shyvana typically takes Red Smite. I have two sources backing me up.
