Why Yi W has flat 35 sec CD when its only used to cancel autos ?

Its longest non-ult ability CD in the game with one of the least uses. Make it scale with AD like Riven shield or lower CD to some reasonable lenght.

If it were stronger, his jungle sustain would be obscene. In teamfights, yeah, it's not super useful, since every second you're channelling is a second you're not doing ridiculous damage. It can be used to wait out your Q cooldown, though.

It only reduces damage by a sh*tload, 50%++

Which saves you from Zed ultimate and others (that one tower shot)

It can be used to tank tower while your laner dives for the kill
