Illaoi's W can allow you to "Jump Over" certain ability's. Glitch or nah?

Alright so i play illaoi a lot and recently (my last game actually) i fought malphite.

The thing that got me was that i was about to take his tower and you use your W to take tower's faster, right when malphite ulted i used my W on the turret and basicall jumped over him. I'v never actually seen this happen before and it was very clear i should have been hit (he literally ran right under me) so i'm making sure this isn't a glitch by posting about it for everyone to see.

Malphite's ult doesn't knock enemies up along his path. You probably jumped outside of his actual knock-up radius (at the end of the ult) and dodged it that way. In other words, nice prediction m8 i r8 8/8.

Oh wow xD I'm bad for not knowing that about him i guess it's his speed when he moves that made me think it was when he makes contact. I feel better now about that out play, can i do it to gragas body slam to?

No, he does knock-up the first enemy he collides with and can interrupt dashes way. But you should be able to jump the side if there's a target there ^^

Damn i love illaoi, getting used to her and actually taking the time to learn her has made my games so much more fun and i learn so much about how to play her.
