Yet their vayne who had still somehow managed to lifesteal more health than thornmail was doing damage.

Can we buff this trash item yet? if I have vayne shouldn't be able to fucking still erase me and lifesteal while having only two completed ADC items. I realize offense is meant to outscale defense, but it's honestly ridiculous when I have so many more items than her and she completely ignores it. What the fuck is the point of thornmail, it doesn't do shit.

Thornmail does magic damage, and she made quite a bit of MR with banshee's. I'd bet if you checked the death recap, the majority of her damage was true from SB.

I dont think thats possible lol. Also Im pretty sure with "470 armor", this thornmail is better than the old one, by far

470 Armor, minus the 65-95 base Armor any champion has, means Thornmail's reflected damage is 94-101+15% of physical damage, before MR.

Once the attacks are dealing >670 damage (before accounting for Armor reduction), the old Thornmail's 30% of physical damage is stronger.

And this Vayne had 234 AD (304 during ult), plus Infinity Edge. So her basic attacks could deal 351 (456) on Tumbles, 585 (760) on Crits, and 702 (912) on Tumble-Crits.

That's all without accounting for Runes and Masteries. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the match to which this thread refers, so I can't verify any of that information either.

Honestly, Thornmail is just kinda garbage right now.

She would only crit ~every 4th auto attack tho, so this thornmail wouldve done more damage overall unless she got lucky.

Yes, but you also should consider that we can't find the game to confirm any other variables, such as Vayne having a 6th item (currently it's showing ~1000 gold in difference, more for Vayne than the opponent, in item costs) or particular runes/masteries (I didn't, for example, include the 7% bonus Armor Pen into the damage math, or all the +% damage factors).

And I've seen crazier luck, like having a 1% proc rate work twice in a row.

EDIT: I also forgot to account for her Banshee's Veil, which would give her a significant amount of MR, reducing Thornmail's damage and making her Lifesteal more effective.
