Toplane voted by pros the least impactful role BY FAR, yet jungle is the role to get buffs

Just: why, Riot?

With 0 hate on junglers or balance team, the facts are that toplane is worthless for seasons now and nothing has been done, meanwhile junglers who still enjoy game-warping presence in every single match get buffed in the first month after holiday break simply because their pick diversity suffered.

Again, no hate on anyone, but this simply warrants an explanation.

You can't pretend jungle required buffs more when pros value it almost equally to midlane while pretty much everyone considers toplane useless.

I mean, jung feels shit to play even if its one of the best roles. Theres never been a thing said that its impossible for the best role in the game to feel like shit. the result for ADC can shut up though, it only gives spoiled adc mains more fuel for their dumbass fire to get more buffs than they should ever get.

They dont have a toplaner on the balance team, plain and simple. Top isn't able to do shit because we've nerfed TP into the ground, and thats the one thing that toplane could rely on to affect the game. Now they have to be 20/0 to make any difference, but if the enemy adc is 20/0, they lose to that.

Why do people try to use pro play as an analog for soloq? Why do oeople say what champs/roles/strats whatever is good/bad in pro play then try to assert that is equal to their low ELO soloq games lol. You know what else pro players say? That pro play is practically a different game than even challenger soloq.

Why don't we take a look at the leader boards then? Out of the top 10 challenger players (on my server anyway), 1 is support, 2 are jungle, 3 are mid, 2 are ADC, and 2 are top. On EUW it's 3 mids, 3 ADCs, 2 supports, 1 jungle, and 1 top.

But hey I guess jungle is super OP and top and ADC are trash because of your survey despite being viable at the absolute highest tiers of soloq. We should just ignore that because only 99.9999% of players play soloq

jungle did not get a buff..5 exp to krugs that very few people kill to begin with is not a buff..

Because jungle is a fairly quick and easy numbers problem, where as top lane is only something that affects pro play, is only perception, and is entirely due to fundamental problems with the game itself (map design and an uneven number of players to lanes)

I think the reason for this being that games have a lot of early game team fights now. Seeing a lot of team fights happen at 16 min now. Top laners never join the fights early. And since games are early, Top laners really don't contribute much to the team. None take TP, usually ignite or ghost, never want to have a global presence. Top laners don't roam, they don't do anything.

Junglers needs a buff because their XP was so bad they'd be 4 levels behind their whole team. They were LITERALLY useless. Top laners just choose to be useless.

ok... why is it that every single time riot does anything for literally any group people instantly complain because the other group is being ignored. Jungle is being buffed due to it feeling like shit to play at lower elos it is also insanely easier to fix the jungle issues than to do stuff mid season to fix whatever issues top lane has.

Literally every single time is:

Boards: rito stop balancing around pro play! Riot: ok here's a change that targets mostly low to mid elo Boards: rito stop balancing around those people they have no idea how to play balance around high elo! Riot: here's this change to make these champion better for high elo play Boards: omg rito stop balancing around soloq in general! just focus on pro play!

and the loop begins all over again.
