Riot balance philosophy is a blatant lie.

How can you possibly claim to attempt to make balanced and nuanced kits and then near the end of 2016 release camille?

Her ultimate is the definition of anti-fun, and her mobility is completely unwarranted considering she has such a ridiculous ultimate. And as if locking people up wasn't good enough, you had to give her a stun, absurd true damage, sustain, waveclear, untargetability, movespeed, a low cooldown shield, the list goes on.

She is now the highest winrate champion top lane.. To literally no one's surprise.

Just stop pretending you care about balance. It's pretty clear you do not.

This game really has devolved into pick from a pool of about 20 champs or dont bother playing ranked with the intention to win.

It's not fair when some champions have 4 abilities and barely a passive and others get abilities that are literally 2-3 abilities in one with 2 passives and no cooldowns. Some champions are outright stronger with 2 items than others with 4. I really don't understand how this can be allowed.

source on that?

Now do you want to see how every other 3rd party source that's just as inaccurate shows something different?

she's definitely strong and in need of some nerfs, there's no denying that. But you can't really base your argument on just what you see at op.gg. Riot's the only place with accurate data, and they'll nerf or buff accordingly.

Sure, they can nerf her numbers, but really the problem is her kit is just grossly overloaded. As with most kits that come out these days. There's a reason why ivern and camille are the first and second highest winrate champions in diamond+ DESPITE being the most recent releases.

These champs are literally the definition of freelo. You don't even have to have learned them well/practiced them in order to win a majority of your games. You just pick them and you are automatically more likely to win than lose.

Highest banrate and second highest winrate in diamond. After being out for less than a month. What a balanced design. Very interactive gameplay coming from this champion clearly.

wow would you look at that she has the 28th highest winrate of top lane champions and the site only has up to 57 top lane champions which means her winrate is in the middle of the pack...

that's data from the previous patch. patch 6.24. outdated.

She's still only number 18th statistically in performance. Riven, Yasuo Darius are the top contenders with a higher winrate than camille and a much higher popularity.

To be honest, they made some pretty shitty statements in their balance philosophy, they straight up said that they balance champs for the PROS like LCS and stuff so they play the champs after their balanced and we watch them play so we learn how to play like them, it sounds confusing but once you understand it its actually retarded.

The only reason why the game feels awful is because Riot is on vacations, Camille didn´t have that winrate during release nor during the 2 weeks after, the problem was that Riot wasn't able to do any balancing after her first weeks so she was left in this state and people found out ways to bring out her true power. If Christmas wasn't a thing, Camille would have received the appropriate nerfs by now
