Prepare for massive Nunu nerfs

As some of you may know, Veigar was nerfed largely because his appearance as a support, specifically in Korean soloque and LCK (like LCS but Korea).

Well I've noticed that recently in SoloQ on Cowsep's (high diamond/master tier Master Yi player in Korea, originally from U.S.) stream Nunu support is slowly becoming a thing. I guess for his CC and help in securing those early dragons, plus the ability to buff up his adc's stats.

So prepare for the gut since apparently nobody but supports are allowed to support.

Fun fact: Nunu's main role is labeled as support.

He was really popular during season 1 / 2, his height or peak of power was when Gambit played nunu / kog bot lane and people really started to pay attention to him.

Since then he was nerfed time n time again. Its only fair that we'll start seeing him again, He counters the balls out of kalista / cait / varus / sivir... and so on.

He was actually a very good support for these reasons in the early seasons. I still see him from time to time, even in ranked, and I hate playing against him whenever this happens. I doubt he would see any nerfs just because he can eat a minion and buff an ADC's attack speed, all he offers during laning is a slow and an AS buff.

And kill secure. I cant tell you how many ADCs ive killed who would have gotten away by ulting in the bush behind their tower. Nunu support also has a 275+1.0AP nuke with a low CD that applies a 50% slow.

That needs to charge to deal full damage. And the cooldown is 90 seconds at full rank, 110 at the highest, that isn't what I would call "low". Also how have they allowed you to walk past/around them to allow you to enter the bush behind their tower? You would need to leave your ADC, and lane for nearly a minute while you walk around to place yourself there on the odd chance your ADC wins a trade. Plus why would they even walk all the way to a tier 2 tower to port?

... Uhm.... Do you even know nunus abilities? His E is a 275+1.0AP nuke on a low CD. His R is 300/600/900+2.0AP (full damage only on max channel time)

They dont notice you move around, and generally they try to go past the tower (in the middle of the lane, or near the bush) to back after a failed trade. Also, if your ADC needs to back, why wouldnt you roam mid? or roam the enemy jungle, as nunu, and try to poach some buffs? Sounds like you dont know how to play nunu, or support for that matter.

It was a mistake on my part, I thought he meant his ultimate. Besides a 275 + 1.0 skill on a 6 second CD isn't insane. Kayle has a 260 (+ 60% AP) (+ 100% Bonus AD) on an 8 second that slows for 55%, and applies a stack of her passive at 100 more range, and less mana cost. Nunu's costs 75 mana at the first rank, and 115 at the last. Sure you can save his passive for it, but there are other skills he has that you can use with it. Janna even has her W. 280 (+ 50% AP) at 50 more range, while it is a bit weaker and a higher cooldown, it can reach an 80% slow. There is nothing overpowered about Nunu's 3, not even the attack speed slow. I also wasn't saying that you shouldn't roam if your ADC isn't in lane, and your lane is safe. I was just saying that for you to take your time to go to the bush behind the enemy tower to wait for a chance to ult would serve no point. And when did I ever say roaming, or taking buffs was a bad thing?
